I broke down and got rid of my Crackberry and bought an Iphone 5. As all of you know that have a smart phone moving up from a Crackberry to an Iphone or newer Android is like going from a Yugo to a 7 Series. In other words, the phone is awesome, but... The phone screen is small when there is so much to read. I would like to see an Iphone Jumbo along the lines/size of the bigger Galaxy phones because the phone screen errors on the small side. And before everyone beats me up my vision is 20/20 and only in the last year or so have I experienced my vision suffering a little up close.

 

With all this in mind I am thinking about switching to a bigger Galaxy.

 

Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Opinions?

Are you aware/or do you not like zoom feature?

I switched from Iphones to the S3.. Never going back. Bigger screen, tons more free apps and you don't have to fool with itunes....

I switched to iPhone about 4 months ago and I absolutely hate it! "ru, go get a Samsung Galaxy S3 and get rid of that thing.

Samsung Galaxy S3 or the Galaxy Note2. You want a screen? Go get a note.

I'll never not own an iPhone. I use the zoom feature if needed when my eyes fail me. I admittedly don't care about my screen size. It works for me.

 

iTunes is the greatest.

I've had blackberry (awful, awful, browser), and droid phones, and have a had an Iphone for work for the last 1.5 years. I loved it at first, and I still like it. Granted it is the 4, but it does have some quirks that I'm not thrilled with. It's kinda slow, and I wish it would manage docs better. I tunes is great for music. I will get the 5 in May when i'm due for an upgrade. I'm also due for an upgrade on my personal phone in a couple of months. I think I'm going give the galaxy a shot and get rid of my stupid blackberry.

I do not find Droid phones to be user-friendly at all. For that reason alone I stick with my iPhone.

I thought my iPhone was too big.

 

I can't imagine using one of those huge phones I have seen others with. That would drive me nuts. Why not just get a tablet? Before you know it phones will be so big you will have to carry your phone around your neck on a chain like flav-a-flav does with the clock.

 

I'm probably not your typical iPhone user, as I use my iphone primarily for a telephone and email. I use BGP, I text with my family, check the weather, and conduct online banking/financial apps. I also use the camera some, but not a lot. I use the browser very little. I don't download music but I do listen to Pandora and Sirius on there occasionally. I bought a $15 itunes card when I first got the phone and I still have about 12 bucks of that left.

I'll just be brainwashed then. I like knowing that when I download something on iTunes that it is exactly what I am getting and it really is in HD. I also like my music being in perfect quality also. I used to download torrents and all that stuff but I'd much rather pay iTunes to get a quality download the first time than to having to keep searching and downloading and searching and downloading. Give me iTunes all day.

I owned an Iphone for 3 or 4 years. On my last upgrade, I went with a Galaxy Note.

 

The size and quality of the screen is amazing, it's great for watching movies and web browsing. The phone is much more like a small computer that makes calls. It's nice to be able to do what I want with the phone and not have to jump through all the hoops that apple has set in place.

 

I thought the screen on my last Iphone (Iphone 4) was a little more responsive. I also thought the I phone ran a little smoother.

 

Many pros and cons for each phone. Not sure if I'll go back to the Iphone on my next upgrade or stick with another Android.

Love my iPhone. The user response time is unmatched. Everything else feels sluggish but to each their own.

I assume you can zoom the same way on the Droids?

 

And for those of you that say the Droids aren't very user friendly can you be specific?

 

And 2C you don't count, you just wanna look cool with an Iphone when a flip phone will do for you.
