And for those of you that say the Droids aren't very user friendly can you be specific?

 

And 2C you don't count, you just wanna look cool with an Iphone when a flip phone will do for you.

 

The touch response is very slow compared to an iPhone. At least that's what I've noticed before.

I have an iPhone but I've used other people's Galaxy and I just didn't like the response time compared with the iPhone.

 

Yes the screen is bigger and yes there is more customizations and some features that Apple doesn't use or won't allow but I still much prefer my iPhone over any other phone.

It's hard to explain. I went from a hardcore crackberry user to an iPhone. I grabbed an iPhone and there was seriously almost zero learning curve for me. It was easy to do stuff and figure out how to do things. My Mom and coworkers are constantly trying to get me to help and "figure out things" on their droids. I generally end up frustrated and on Google.

 

Also, typing on the keyboard isn't nearly as responsive and natural. I was EXTREMELY skeptical when I switched from a crackberry to an iPhone but found myself quite shocked with how easy it was to learn. I didn't like droids when I decided on an iPhone in my original switch and I haven't used a droid since then that made me want to reconsider having an iPhone.

iTunes is the one area where I do have a complaint. But since you have over-the-air syncing and things like that now I only use my iTunes when I want to switch up the music or when I buy a new phone.

I'll never not own an iPhone. I use the zoom feature if needed when my eyes fail me. I admittedly don't care about my screen size. It works for me.

I'll bet you are not a very heavy user of iTunes.......works Ok until you have an "issue" then it can be a royal pain!!

 

Apple products/users are becoming so dependent upon iTunes it is becoming a monster. Apple needs to rework the whole iTunes concept and break it into more manageable pieces.

I am a Droid loyalist. I have an X2 for my personal phone, but will be upgrading in January...probably to a GalaxyS. I have a Droid Bionic for work. I will say that the IT guys at work prefer Droids. They started phasing out Blackberries and began with iPhones. However, for those of us in the later phase out, we were given the Droids. Several iPhones have been traded in for Droids by the earlier phase. They (IT) are getting some Windows phones and will be testing them over the next few months, but still expect Droid to be the preferred device.

 

I have no issues with screen responsiveness, stability or quality of sound or video with either of my devices. I think the aps available are absolutely on par with what Apple offers, and there are far more of them.

Do IT guys like Droids over iPhones because most corporations use PCs instead of Macs? Seems like Droids would be easier for them to use for work.

I don't think so for our guys. They still prefer the iPad, for instance, over the Droid tablet products. Only one person issued a tablet has been issued a Droid platform. Everyone else has been issued an iPad.

 

That could change, though.

I'm Apple all the way. I use an IPhone and IPad for work and play, I have Apple TV and will be getting a MacBook (for the wife) for Christmas. It all works so well together I can't imagine life without Apple....

Love how everything Apple communicates so well, if I download a song it's instantly on all Apple devices. Wanna play my music over the TV? Done. Wanna view pics on the TV while listening to music? Done. Wanna watch a movie or purchase the new season of the walking dead? Done.

Yep thats me, always worried about my image. smh

 

Other than the image remark, you aren't very far off. I like the simplicity of my old Motorola Razor flip phone and for a phone only, I miss it. I do like being able to browse, find phone numbers, use maps, play games, etc. when I want to, but I just don't do those things very often.
