The toyota add is a 90% chance of lock up within 10 seconds.

 

The same ad runs on Cincinnati.com without error.

 

I need IE 9 for my work and have changed no setting in over 6 months.

 

BGP on iphone no problem.

 

Any other ad on BGP no problem.

 

As soon as Toyota apprears it is usually either close that window of possibly the whole IE9 session.

Toyota add locks my computer as well - only on BGP. As soon as I saw the the add I thought "Crap here we go again"

Having trouble now on my iPhone on forum runner. Can open the main forums, and can open the sub forums, but I can't scroll at all, or scroll in a thread. I can't even open the reply button :(

I tried BGP on IE again tonight and it is working, including when the Toyota ad runs. Personally I never noticed the problem being related to an ad.

That's because it is not an ad problem, it is an IE problem.

Disregard my last post

I downloaded Firefox about a week ago and use it to access BGP only. It works great with no problems.

 

I will say that whenever I tried to use IE last week and the Toyota ad popped up at the top of the page, it hung up on 4 different days. All the other BGP ads seemed to work fine using IE. Maybe it's related, maybe not..just my personal experience.

Can someone tell me in very simple terms why this problem is occurring? I've never had a problem in the past. If I can't use my home computer then I might have to say goodbye.

I was able to disable the add ons on my lap top and seems to have cleared up the issue.

 

I have not disabled the add ons on my home computer and problem still seems to exist. I know everyone is saying that it is not tied into the adds but the only time I have an issue is when the Toyota ad was in place?

 

No issues at any time when using my Kindle Fire?

That is a question for the Internet Explorer powers that be.

 

In short, there are several ways to avoid the IE problem and probably the best one is to download and use Chrome or Firefox.

I've used Fire Fox and never had any of these issues.

Today has been worst day yet. Im getting ready to disable add-ons and try that.
