And for Hurricane Sandy. Serioously, though, I hope this situation gets cleared up soon.

I think the problem is with IE 9. I can use the site fine at work with IE 8. I'm having problems on multiple sites with IE 9.

Thanks you Wireman, this is not a problem unique to BGP, this is a problem with IE.

Just now saw this thread, all this time I just figured it was my computer. As mentioned by others I am also having my problems with windows 7 IE 9 however when I get on google chrome it works just like is use to. I am about to follow the steps you all listed to see if that works.

I use Chrome and RockMelt and neither have any issues.

I have figured out enough to use Chrome and I have had no problems so far. Hopefully it stays this way.

I also figured out how to use Chrome and am not having any problems.:jump:

How did those steps work out on IE9?

I thought it was doing better, it was doing well the first half hour I was just on here. However right when I went to reply to this it started acting up again. I had to now get back on google chrome to be able to reply back to you.

It is crap. The Toyota add shows up can't do anything.

cant even log in hangs up quickly

on iPhone now but win 7 ie 9 can't even guest access

It is only the Toyota add on your site that hangs not the way to get new users

completely unusable today

I have IE8 and tried those steps. It seemed to be even worse. I am using Chrome now on that computer and having no problems.

What issues are you having using your iphone?

for those having problems with "toyota ad" can you take a screenshot of it and post it here

For the record, Google ads do not open popups. It's against their policies as well as ours.

If you are experiencing popups you may have some kind of spyware/malware which may answer why you are receiving the popups only in IE.

I highly recommend you try Google Chrome.

Chrome is the fastest browser.

Chrome is the most secured browser. eg. It will tell you if you are visiting a page that is infected with malware.

You can sync your settings, bookmarks, passwords, extensions, history, etc from one computer to the next. Basically, if you bookmark a page (or save a password) while using your work computer it will be visible in your Android phone or home computer.

Another tool I highly recommend is ZoneAlarm - Internet Security Suite.

Other tricks you can try...

Try running IE 9 without addins:

Just type the following command into the Windows search box to launch a bare-bones Internet Explorer:

iexplore.exe -extoff

If you can now browse ok, go to gear icon > manage addons and disble them in groups until you find the culprit.

-----

Download / Run MalwareBytes Antimalware

-----

Use system restore to go back 14 days to a date before the problems started - when IE9 was working properly
