For the last 3-4 days, almost every time I get on BGP it seems to lock my computer up. When I go to task manager, BGP is using a crazy amount of memory. I can end task and it'll reload and seem to work normally. This happens on my laptop (Win 7 w/ IE 9) and at work (Win XP w/ IE 8).

 

Anyone else noticing anything? A fix?

yes there were people complaining about it in another thread titled "computer problem". The other thread seems to have disappeared. It's been going on all weekend.

Lot's of internet issues out there right now. Including various browser issues with Chrome, Firefox and IE. It's honestly got me wondering if someone is meddling as I work with websites very day and I've noticed things like this picking up the past week or so.

For the last week or so it has been a nightmare. :madman: The last 2 days at times it is a complete lock-up, can't do a thing. However when I get on BGP on my wife's Kindle it's business as usual.

I didn't change anything. Just stopped happening.

I honestly think it was the Toyota Google ad. There was lots of memory and flash involved with it and it was on the screen on two different computers I used when it froze

Yes, sign in and start to search forums and it locks up. Have used task manger to unlock the computer. Very annoying

When I used IE as my browser, the computer bascially became inoperable. When I used Chrome as my browser, no problems. I also seemed to have more of a problem on one computer than I did on another. I only noticed the issue when logged in to BGP.

As I said before, not uncommon and don't think it has any thing to do with the site.

I had the problem again tonight while on BGP using IE. I switched to Chrome and have had no issues.
