Congrats on a great season!!

 

didn't see tonights game, so I will not comment on what happened tonight except it was a great win for Conner.

 

Playoffs should be fun, hope the NKY teams make a great showing this year.

Conner finishes with an 8-2 record and Cooper finishes with a 9-1 record. Great year for both teams and schools, now lets one of us make it to the finals!

 

You got lumped in with Daddy Mac. You said you stand by what you saw so what's the big deal?

I swaid I stand by what I said ref the Conner Cooper game especially after I was told I lied about it.

 

 

The big deal was when you tried to claim it was said because Cooper lost that game. If that wasn't your intent then I mistook what you were saying. I took offense to thaat assumption because I have never used an excuse to any loss and the loss had nothing to do with what I said about the incident, it was only brought up by me that wweek because I felt the officials should of controlled it a little better before someone got hurt and thank god no one did get hurt. That was the only reason it waas even brought up then. Again, had nothing to do with who won or who lost, I woould of brought it up no matter what the outcome of the game was.

How about if we do this? I'm done talking about it, can we just do what I already tried to do and leave the past in the past and move on to the playoffs? I'm so done with being told I said things for reasons that couldn't be further from the truth.

Actually, they have to come to Franklin Co. for round #2, if we beat Scott. Of course that is not a guarantee as anything can happen in high school sports.

Ease up on "class" comment. Coach Trosper is a class act and very good coach. Sometimes emotions get away from kids. Does not mean they are classless.

Maybe I'm late to the party on this one, but I just looked at the DQ list on the KHSAA site and it now lists two players from Cov Cath as being DQ'd and one from Conner. All three received two game suspensions. I know CC originally had three, so with that said I'm glad the state saw the third player had nothing to do with the incident and removed his suspension. I'm sure that young man was happy.

Someone said that Coach Trosper has no class somewhere in this thread. I can't remember who or when but I do remember reading it. Looks like Redhound read it also.

I heard that the ref's originally called a # on the Cov Cath roster that did not exist-so maybe that's how it got down to two.

Honestly the whole thing was mishandled by the crew and they hurt both sides with strange calls during the game. The whole incident occurred in between a just completed 4th down & punt return when there were Special Team, Offensive & Defensive players coming on & off the field anyway- so no way on earth to accurately pinpoint who was legitimately coming or going off the field.

Would have been better off just pulling the players apart and flagging both with offsetting personal fouls.
