Biggest rivalry in state this week. Should be a fun one to watch. I think both teams are very evenly matched. Throw the records and scores out. Everybody come out to watch.

Since it's the "biggest rivalry in state" I am probably showing my ignorance but who are we talking about here?

The paddle is new started in 07. Two river towns battling it out for the boat paddle. However it's second most played game in state and I'm pretty sure top 10 most played games in country. It's two towns separated by a street right down the middle one side Dayton other Bellevue.

I grew up on that street and played in many battles with Dayton. Its a great rivalry and will come down to the wire. Im going with my Tigers by a 2 pt conversión.

Bellevue 22

Dayton 20

This should be a very good game. These teams are pretty evenly matched. Both teams have a very good running back - Huff for Bellevue and Walker for Dayton. If Bellevue uses their QB Ackerson more in this game, that could tip the advantage to the Tigers. It really is almost too close to call but I am going to pick Dayton because of Walker. I see him making the big plays to get the Green Devils the win. It is a great rivalry and this week's game is one of the best, most even match ups in a long time. Just remember people, it is football, not life and death. Enjoy it.

I am going with Dayton. They seem to be able to play well vs some pretty solid teams. The paddle is a good idea but would like to see something a little nicer for the kids to win. Its a hand painted boat paddle kind of boring. The kids work awful hard all year for this game and always a hard fought game. Two small schools with both cities coming out to support always a fun game to be at. I will be in the stands. Good luck to both teams.
