OK bud, whatever you think. Just because you can get a whole bunch of BW sympathizers on here and gang up on a few of us doesnt mean jack to me.

Can you imagine how strong 2a would be adding Beechwood and Mayfield... I'm sure the 1a teams would gladly swap those 2 for Ft Knox and Crittenden Co... I doubt Murray, OB Catholic, NCC, Cov HCross and a few others would like it very much...

Numbers in that time frame mean nothing to me. It's about playing for championships and quality wins. You can beat the Fultons and Ludlow's all you want but if you're not winning more of the tough games instead of losing them then your program is not up to snuff. In the last 4 seasons Beechwood cannot say that. They are on a decline.

The issue for Mayfield folks comes to one simple point ... THEY HATE THE BEECHWOOD GETS MORE ATTENTION ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD.

Conversely ... everyone from Beechwood realizes that this is a tough year ... yet ... they are honest and realistic about the program.

If this is what you consider decline ... you have completely lost your perspective.

Beechwood no doubt plays a very tough schedule compared to others but I don't think Mayfield would be too far behind on SOS.

True champions don't need symphathizers and no one is ganging up on anyone but you. It's not about Mayfield either because I agree with almost everything TP and MHSCard said. At a minimum, I appreciate their arguments because they make sense. You are missing the point because for some reason you are insulted. You will get your chance. Hopefully we will be good enough to get to play you guys again. If so, you will be the favorite... Oops, then it won't matter for your ratings and rankings, crap. Forget that then.

 

It's High School Football dude. You really need to relax. We don't want one of thse Mayfield games to be played as a dedication to you. Do you really think you need to point out that Mayfield beat BW 3 years in a row. Only insecure people would need to do that. Were you on the field in any of those games, if not then you didn't do crap. I wasn't, so I don't get all defensive.

I would be quick to point out a few things about this criteria that stickout to me without taking the time to look over any stats. Head to head Mayfield is better than Bw in more of those years and they proved that by ousting Bw in 3 of the 5 years and did so while having the toughest road to in the playoffs of any of the top 3 teams. I also think that to date this year M has the clear lead over B and H.

Really, who did you play? I am asking seriously because I don't know/remember. I think Frankfort was no easy path for BW those years either.

Even so .... with Beechwood being on the "decline" ... they are still making it to round 4 at the very worst.

I'm very relaxed and everybody on here is a little more than the average fan or you or I wouldn't be on here.

 

And hi, quickslick, my favorite BW poster. You are correct, our program had the talent in 07 and 08 but we had some "personal" issues and BW would have no doubt beaten us. But I always like to point out that yes if BW and MF played every year that BW would have won plenty of times but also I have pointed out that if MF was in 1A ball like they could have been, BW would not have as many titles as they do.

Actually, I think that there being more attention for Bw is what makes it more fun for me. I work behind a desk atleast part of the day everyday and I use this board to take quick breaks from my work. The emotional rants by some (you being one Quick, though no offense meant) since the Cards have had Bw's number has been live entertainment and if its a slow day I can usually bring you or others out and get your motor going. Now at the end of the day it's all in good fun for me and I hope it is for you too as someday you will get the best of me and the Cards and get to turn the tables. I was very careful to not push any of your buttons after last years loss and left you guys alone until this season so I do hope you see I was considerate to high emotions while the wounds were fresh. Now at other times I also like to follow Bw becasue they are usually our chief opponet in the quest for a title.
