Paducah Tilghman schedule next year is as follows:

 

McCracken county

Evensville Reitz

Mayfield

Henderson County

Graves

Highlands

 

 

This is the non-district schedule and for a 3-a team probably the toughest in the state besides Central...Thoughts?

They may be loaded as some of the key current McCracken County (Lone Oak, Heath, Reidland) players are rumored to be planning to transfer to PT rather than go to McCracken County High School that has yet to announce who will be the head coach. In addition they have been blessed to recieve kids from Ballard County and Massac County IL. recently who happen to be good football players. So maybe they feel like they are going to have a full deck next year and want to be battle tested. This is a massive upgrade for them in schedule that much is certain.

They basically had the same schedule last year, but, swap out Henderson Co for Christian Co.. Highlands is the only addition, which, in comparison to Crittenden Co, is pretty big... Tilghmans's always played tough schedules... They used to schedule really hard back in the 80s when Allen Cox was coach... I can remember St X being on there, Brentwood Academy was on there on a regular basis, Blythville, Ar, Jonesboro, Ar, teams from Memphis, Stl area teams... They pretty much took on all comers back then... Glad to see them getting back to that..

Trinity used to play PT back in the 80's too. Dennis Lampley used to love paying PT, he had a great deal of respect for their program.

Where will the Highlands game be played? That is a long trip for a regular season game (325 miles so probably a 6+ hour bus ride) I would think that may be a Saturday game unless they are meeting in middle somwhere.

I'm guessing the HHS game will be in Ft Thomas. HHS has 6 regular season home games this year so to offset that number of away games next year, I'm sure Dale only agreed to play based on them heading to DCM.

The game will be in Paducah. It's a home and away. I think the tornado will be glad to see district play come next year. Wow. Very tough.

Don't know. But I heard last night at the frosh game that John Hardin will be on the schedule also. Don't know if that's true though.
