If you haven't read the rules as of yet, this would be a good time to do so.

Rule 13. Within reason, you must use correct spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and grammar when posting on the forums.

You read incorrectly the only lineman near that mark is Whitford other than that, that's not correct.

I read where Highlands starts 2 kids that around 290 pounds.

Don't know about two of them. Richie Whitford is closest and is an absolute beast of a lineman. He will be(is IMO) one of the most dominate lineman in NKY this year and should see plenty of statewide "All Star" teams. But that really gets you no where now does it. I do think he has the ability and obvious the size to play next level possibly major D1. The other lineman you speak of must be Swietzer. He's probably closer to 265ish and is a Junior. Next year as a Senior, he will garner lots of attention from D1 schools as he is also a very good lineman.

You have to admit, Highlands has earned the love affair.

Not talking about Highlands, I respect what they've done. Talking about the Highlands/CCH love affair. It's as though each views the other as the gf they hate but no one else should be allowed to date or talk bad about...... it's petty.

If size was so important HHS wouldn't even be that good, how fast are these teams? Not just position players but line wise as well, speed has gotten the Kobe done for highlands in recent years, obviously.

I'm with you on this one. I've seen HHS play plenty of spiny heineys on the line and they do just fine. The old saying is strength punishes but speed kills.

I'm sorry that was supposed to say "Job" not "kobe" I'm not sure how to fix that.

How big is Turner now?

Each has earned the others respect. Among the big schools Ryle comes the closest to getting in the party.

Highlands fans don't even know about their own team! :D

Richie Whitford 6'3 295

Scott Turner 6'5 290

I read correct Turner and Whitford are both over 290!

The HHS football website lists Turner at 6'5" 270.

For one Scotty turner doesn't start and for two here is the real roster, he is listed at 270.

Northern Kentucky Sports has an up to date roster check it out!

That's the one I found. 10 players over 250. :scared:
