Obviously Mudiay and Jones are at the top of the list, but where would you have Ulis when compared to the other point guards (Lyle, Snider, Berry, Perkins, Chiozza, etc.) in the class.

I really like his game and feel he is slighted in the rankings because of his size. Like his performance against Jones at the Peach Jam showed, he can go against the best of them. You've got the chance to see them a lot more so interested in who you would take in order from that list (as well as others not listed).

Am told by multiple sources that any school other than Kentucky for Tyler Ulis would be a shocker.

Agree. Maybe it's just me, but size isn't as big of an issue for college point guards while they are actually there as it becomes in the pro game. In the pros, it's more of a defensive thing than anything. I think he can play and be effective at UK, and is probably a guy who'll be around for a few years.

I didn't get to see Ulis this year...

UK to have in-home visit with Stanley Johnson on Thursday, per Ben Roberts.

Myles Turner received an offer from UK last night, per the Herald-Leader.

ESPN’s Jeff Goodman tweeted Thursday afternoon that Michigan State is “conceding” Ulis to John Calipari and the University of Kentucky. The Spartans have already moved on to the backup plan, “Tum Tum” Nairn, who will visit East Lansing this weekend.

Myles Turner received an offer from UK last night, per the Herald-Leader.

Great article and video/interview on Myles, note that the video was recorded before the UK offer.

Some quotes from the article:

Asked what he found impressive about Calipari, David Turner said, “Well, Coach Cal, he produces NBA talent. The fact that he sees my son in that same light is very impressive.”

Turner, an elite shot-blocker who runs the floor well and also has good offensive skills, has seen his recruiting stockicon1.pngsoar since early summer. After missing all of the summer of 2012 because of a broken ankle, the 6-foot-11, 225-pound Turner has gone from unranked by some recruiting sites to a consensus top-10 prospect in the 2014 class.

Myles Turner is down to, in alphabetical order, Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Texas, and a trip to Kansas for Oct. 4 is the only official visit that’s scheduled, his dad said.

David Turner said he has not heard from U of L recently but that the Cardinals remain on the list.

David Turner said his son will “definitely” take an official visit to UK.

He said Calipari suggested the family officially visit the weekend of Big Blue Madness on Oct. 18, and that remains a possibility.

David Turner said UK is not at a disadvantage in that the Wildcats made his son an offer later than other teams.

Ulis and Booker both told Cal they were coming this weekend. Both will announce on their own time.
