August 2, 201214 yr I've been trying not to complain about Dusty and the lineup b/c all they do is win so even though I hate this here goes: Why does Rolen and his .667 OPS continually hit in front of Ludwick (.888) and Frazier (.862)? My feeling is he won't put Frazier in front of him b/c he doesn't want any part of giving Frazier any of Rolen's time when Votto is back. I can't begin to explain him in front of Ludwick though. Side note, I agree with the people on here that Ludwick sitting today is dumb. Just Dusty being Dusty, why try to figure him out? I'm with you and I am trying not to complain because they are playing so well but let's see what happens when they play a real team. This weekend should tell us what we can expect against better competition.
August 3, 201214 yr The Reds have 26 games left with teams who have basically lost interest (Cubs, Brewers, Astros, Marlins). It is set up perfect for them. My only concern is after the September call ups it could be frightening to see who Dustbag puts in the lineup. It will be interesting to see how he gets 17 position players at bats. And if LRCW changes my avatar to that garbage he won't have a horses head in his bed, he will have a horses.......rear end in his frig. Gotta hit him where it hurts.
August 3, 201214 yr Reds are currently 64-41, with 57 games to play. If they simply go 30-27 (a .526 clip), they'll be 94-68. The Pirates would have to go 34-24 (a .586 clip) and the Cardinals would have to go 38-20 ( a .655 clip), just to tie. If they Reds go at a .555 clip the rest of the way (seems pretty realistic to me), the Pirates would have to play over .620 (36-22) and the Cardinals would have to go 40-18 (almost a .700 clip). Only 21 of those 57 games are against teams over .500
August 3, 201214 yr He got lucky again today. Hes got Votto and Phillips out and he benches the NL Player of the Month Ludwick:ohbrother:

August 3, 201214 yr He got lucky again today. Hes got Votto and Phillips out and he benches the NL Player of the Month Ludwick:ohbrother: I have to think Ludwick was sore or tweaked something...I have to give Dusty the benefit of the doubt here....

August 3, 201214 yr Can anyone confirm that Big Green Horse is actually a living, breathing, somewhat rational person? I'm skeptical
August 3, 201214 yr If Dusty would have coached the Big Red Machine Doug Flynn would have started 40 games for Joe Morgan:confused:
