August 2, 201214 yr Author The clowns on the radio don't know. One says he hurt himself legging out a single or is just exhausted. Another says he tweeked his back while stretching for the throw to first. Doesn't seem major. Somebody advise ASAP if they find out the real reason please.

August 2, 201214 yr I'm totally opposite. If everyone agreed all the time, did nothing but praise Dusty, and his lineups and/or his managerial decisions I think it would be boring as heck in here. I don't mind people who disagree with me as long as they have a valid point. I'll still argue my case if they have a valid point. What bothers me is when some clearly do not have valid points and just repeat the same thing over and over acting like what they're saying makes sense. That select few of the population has been growing drastically lately and making it hard to read. I don't mind people who complain every so often. Some people on here complain every day about anything they can find to complain about. They're about to be 23 games above .500 and have the best record in the league. Sit back and enjoy it.

Quite simply taking a sample size and saying well Rolen is hotter and deserves to play is really insulting to what Frazier has done this year. So lets play the same game but realize that hot and cold streaks happen here are there numbers. Rolen 222/300/367/667 in 180 at bats Frazier 276/331/531/862 in 243 at bats. Frazier is getting to the point of people needing to realize it might not just be a hot streak.

I admit that I complain about Dusty from time to time, and most of the time when I do I believe it's a legitimate complaint, but I also admit I'll throw stuff out there just to get the conversation going, or just to be goofy. If you knew me personally you would know I love to goof off, play practical jokes, have good natured ribbing with my friends. That's why I love a lot of the totally off the wall post that some people make. BigGreenHorse cracks me up with a lot of his stuff. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to find out he was the alter ego of one of our long time posters. Life is too short to be serious all the time IMO.

August 2, 201214 yr Author Good guys win again. Only 7 more to go to a shaved head, and a Reds game for Blue Magic, GT and Flotsam. Even if the Pirates sweep the Reds, they would still leave Cincinnati in 2nd place.

Maybe Rolen is on a hot streak...Maybe he's finally healthy enough to where he could produce like he did in 2010 for the rest of the season then call it a career. That's why you ride him until you find out which it is.
