July 21, 201214 yr Author Bailey's last two games he has gone 8 IP 1ER each game. He has a 1.76 ERA last 4 games.
July 21, 201214 yr Was at GABP tonight. Rolen with a dribbler into left field, does not slow up at 1st and Pete Rose dives into 2nd. Then, he advances with a slide and cloud of dust on the wild pitch. I was sitting behind 3rd base. People were screaming for Rolen to steal home. When the soft fly went into left center everyone was screaming for Scott to come in spikes up. He got the run his next at bat. It wasn't Rolen's best game in the field, but pretty strong offensive game for the old man.
July 21, 201214 yr Bailey has definitely made good strides over the past couple of seasons up to this point. If he stays healthy, I believe we are seeing just the beginning and that he's only going to get better. At this point, he's pitching as good as anyone.

It looks like he is going to go all out as long as he can and let what happens happen. This club does need that leadership by example from him.

I think the great thing about Bailey's pitching is that we are starting to see good movement and location at times from Bailey. With him being able to reach back and get 95-97 at times when he needs it and movement down in the zone he can make it very difficult for the hitters to center the ball on him. He has always been one to challenge the hitter but when it comes in straight it went out the same way. The biggest adjustment he has made though is with the mental approach. I think he might finally be maturing with the mental part of the game.
July 21, 201214 yr Great pitching last night carrying the Reds through. Bailey/Chapman combining for an awesome game.
July 21, 201214 yr Author Just got two tickets for tomorrow. Hopefully I'll keep my winning streak alive.

July 21, 201214 yr The Reds have signed lefty Will Ohman , he will report to AAA....He had an era over 6 for the Chi Sox and is 34 years old...I dont understand what it accomplishes when the Reds have a much younger and better Donnie Joseph in AAA already that they can bring up if need be...Sound a lot like the Michael Wuertz signing who has already been rraleased by the Reds... I guess there not sure about Bray, idk...But I wouldve rather picked up Daniel Ray or Denny Reyes
