BW3 is over priced crappy food. So they do have that going for them...

 

And it was the one of the smokiest restaurants in America. It was awful in there for smoke.

This would make sense. I bid on building an outbuilding at Newport Pavilion a few months back that was gonna house a BW3 restaurant, a Chic-Fil-A, and another Chipotle.

Been to the QS&L on 49th Street in Clearwater. Good wings, not great. Love the steak burgers, though. They are reopening Sunshine Speedway soon, so I look for that place to be packed all of the time again.

Ever been to Wild Mike's in Delhi? Best wings in the city hands down...

With all of the names of different sports bars in this thread are sports bars starting to make a bit of a come back? Seems like there are more and more popping up and they all seem to be doing pretty well.

I think it's called Action Drive...the little road that connects the Florence Mall parking lot to Rt. 18. It's going to be sharing a building with a new Harley-Davidson dealership once they finish renovating the old Dodgeland building that they're going in.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe what they call the Newport Pavillion is actually two exits South on 471. You are thinking about Newport On The Levee.

They're probably 1 1/2 or 2 miles away from each other, tops. Newport On The Levee (Aquarium) is off 2nd Street, and Newport Pavilion is kinda off 11th Street, but they're a little catacorner across town from each other.

I wasn't aware they had gone away. Down here, the ones I went to 30 years ago are still there.

 

Mrs. S and I have been going to Capogna's Dugout, in Clearwater, for USF watch parties forever.

 

The Beef O'Bradys in Northdale is a Kentucky bar and the place to go for UK games.

 

The SQL Server User Group, I belong to, goes to Matt Geiger's Court Side Grill after every meeting. It's always packed for the Rays games and it's worse during the NBA and NHL playoffs.

 

The Tilted Kilts are packed during College Football season, as are every Hooters in the Bay area. Mrs. S and I go the Tampa Hooters after USF home games.

That's what I was thinking Brothers, Long Necks, Quaker Steak & Lube is coming in, there have been a few BW3's added over the past few years and a few other smaller sports bars. Just seems like there's a lot more of those sports bar type of places popping up over the past few years.
