Everybody keeps talking about the Reds scouting Span from the twins. Given Walt's comments today, could they really be scouting Josh Willingham?

 

We could only hope so but do we need another swing and miss guy? He will hit a lot of HRs in GASP but he will strike out a lot.

Arroyo must have found the fountain of youth last night however the Rockies arealmost as bad as the Astros. I liked the second and third move with the pitcher up and let him bat. Nice move Brad Mills

Strikeouts are so overrated. Willingham would give the Reds some on-base ability and power, but at the expense of a little defense. If the Reds were to acquire him soon, he could play some first base until Votto returns.

Apparently a couple players in Pensacola were seen saying goodbyes and hugging in the dugout lastnight...Maybe a rumor, maybe not we will see...The person in particular that was mentioned was Corcino but I have also heard that Lotzkar and Joseph may have been sent packing in a deal...

You would think but the Phillies have said that they wont finalize any deals and make them official until right at the deadline...

 

According to MLB exucutives the Reds have also been asking about SP and have been "all over the place this summer"...

I use to have ESPN insider but it has expired. Where else do you guys follow the "rumors" etc?
