I need some help from Highlands fans

Featured Replies

My sister and brother-in-law (who is a HHS grad and former football player there) just bought a house in North Fort Thomas. I was going to buy my nephews some Highlands hats, but Transfer Station is closed for a few weeks. Is there somewhere else i can go for some HHS gear? It is going to kill me when the time comes where they are old enough to be playing for the Birds, but i will where the blue with that ugly giant H to support my nephews at their games ; ) Go Birds (in about 8-9the years) HaHa

Won't be long until you start drinking some of the blue kool-aid and move to the Fort to be near your sister and watch the Birds!:ylsuper:

The Athletic Boosters would be your best chance to get some gear, but they usually try to sell out of this year's inventory by the end of the school year before loading up in summer for the next season.

There is an embroidery shop in Bellevue that has the various Bluebird logos, which can be applied to whatever hat or shirt or whatever you want. PM me and I will give you the name.

Lastly, as today is the last day of school, there may be some merchandise available for sale in the bookstore. Not sure about that one, but might be worth a call if you can get there before 2:45pm today.

Pioneer to Bluebird. Maybe this will start a trend.

Wonder if UK#1fan will be next??

Krogers in Newport sells Highlands gear. :D

Here's a tip, don't buy anything with the state championships listed, they just go obsolete the next year.

I'm sorry to inform you, but I'll be rooting strongly against your nephews in about 8-9 years.

I've gotten two great Highlands hats at Remke's in Newport. Just got this one the other day:

They have shirts as well, and part of the proceeds go back to the school.

Now that is funny right there, true, but funny!

Pioneer to Bluebird. ?

That precedent has already been set.

Maybe they should sell little velcro "add ons" with additional years to be added to existing hats.

Pioneer grad mid 80's married a bluebird with 2 boys in FTJFL . The locals are kind jump on the bandwagon!

The bookstore at the high school will probably be open today between 8 and 3.
