July 26, 201214 yr No one has read the book with the most discussion: 50 Shades of Grey? I read all 3 of the Fifty Shades of Grey books. Interesting, to say the least. I've heard they are looking into making them into a movie. Good luck with the ratings on that one! Currently finishing up the last book of the Hunger Games. I'm anxious to see the movie now. BTW - I recently purchased a Kindle Fire and I am loving it!!! Joined their Prime membership which allows you to "check out" one book per month for free as well as access to tons of free movies and TV shows.
July 27, 201214 yr Finished "Unbroken." It's one of those stories that had you not known it was true you would assume it was 1940s Hollywood stuff. Amazing life this guy has lived - still alive. Everyone should read this book.
July 27, 201214 yr Reading the 1st book in "The Malazan Book of the Fallen" series, "Gardens of the Moon". Was recommended to me by the bookstore when I asked for something similar to Game of Thrones. Very complex characters and storyline, so far I like it. There are 11 books in the series, so got a long ways to go. :lol:

I put it off for a year. I have now read the series several times. It's outstanding, one of my favorites ever! What's so weird is that I don't read "young adult" stuff. I usually prefer military history, spy novels or the classics (like Great Gatsby & To Kill A Mockingbird)
