June 8, 201214 yr Author Picked up a box of books at auction the other day for a couple of bucks. An interesting mix in there. In the last 3 days I've read Billy Budd, Herman Melville; Death and the Joyful Woman, Ellis Peters (Edith Mary Pargeter); and A Matter of Conviction, Evan Hunter (aka Ed McBain).

June 12, 201214 yr I just started "Man Hunt: 10 Year Search for Bin laden" and it's really interesting. I thought it might get bogged down into minutia but so far it's a good read. June 12, 201214 yr Author Bought a box of books a few days ago that came out of a storage unit rented by a local Greek family. Almost all the books have Greek themes. So far I've read "Decision at Delphi" (Helen Macinnes), "Messenger by Night" (Mary Evans Andrews), and "Oedipus the King" (Sophocles).
June 21, 201214 yr Just finished A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. Anyone read it? It's about as good a novel as I think I've read. I've finished reading but caught myself reaching to pick it up and continue several times since. It's haunting.
June 21, 201214 yr Author Picked up 5 of the Lee Childs Jack Reacher books at a yard sale a couple of weekends ago. Even though I've already read them, I read them all again. One Shot, Echo Burning, The Enemy, Bad Luck and Trouble, Nothing to Lose. About 2/3 of the way through Robinson Crusoe now. He just discovered a footprint.

June 21, 201214 yr Is this the next series after "Rise of the Governor"? No this is comics 1-48 compiled into one giant book. After comic issue 100 comes out they'll have 49-100 in Compendium Two. It's great though. Can't wait to read Rise of the Govenor.
