November 13, 201411 yr Took me a little while but I recently finished The Winner by David Baldacci. All about rigging the lottery and then some. Interesting but wasn't my favorite of his.
November 13, 201411 yr Just bought The Royalist Revolution: Monarchy and the American Founding. It hasn't shipped yet, which is unfortunate, because I would have gotten the ebook if it weren't nearly the same price as the real thing.

November 14, 201411 yr Author Re-read an old favorite. "Mystic River". One of those rare novels where the movie came daggone close to doing justice to the book.
November 14, 201411 yr Author Read "Prey" by Michael Crichton. Not his best by a long shot. The science in "Jurassic Park" was a thousand times more believable.
