If I recall correctly, his Transy decision would have been an academic one.

Transy dosn't give out athletic schollys. And yes he is a 4.0 student.

Cool. Good to hear he's a great student. However, he obviously wanted to play D1 ball since he walked on at UK. My memory tells me that was his only option for D1. Am I correct?

Found an old thread. He picked walking on at UK over going to Liberty/Jerry Fallwell U.

He is legit 6'2 IMO as I am 6'2 myself and have stood next to him. He just doesnt have any length, he is a compact kid who uses his strength.

I was thinking Hatton was more like 6' as well, and Q maybe 6'1" at best. :D

The last time Hatton was measured he was a lillt past 6'2"...

Is my memory correct that Mr Polson was going to Transy if he didn't get the walk-on at UK? I don't recall him having any D1 offers. Am I correct?

What offers does Hatton hold? I remember hearing about Justice on hear from the time he was young in High School and I also faintly remember rumblings of Florida being interested...He walked on at UofL...Here some old threads straight from this site on Mr.Justice, sounds all too familiar to this one...

Cant read all of that last link unless you are a subscriber, but it's similar to the Hatton article in saying he is getting INTEREST from a number of high schools...Here's a clip from the Great Florida Shootout Media Book Elisha Justice

5’10 junior point guard - The University of Florida, University of Kentucky,

University of Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky and Marshall University are showing

the most interest in him currently. He attended Billy Donovan’s elite camp this past

August. He has started since his freshmen year and is the only freshmen to win the

M.V.P. of the 15th region tournament.

His final two choices were a full ride to Liberty or preferred walk on at UK(which became a scholarship situation) if I am not mistaken.

1) Try paragraphs. They are your friend.

2) I fully understand how the recruiting world works. Thanks.

3) I have said myself my professional opinion is mid plus.

4) For every 4 star that doesn't pan out there is a 2 star that outperforms his expectations. What's you point?

5) Try paragraphs. They are your friend...

I use paragraphs when I am writing important papers and when other peoples opinions truely matter to me. I enjoy the opinions of everyone on here but I dont really care what anyone thinks.

This is a forum therefore it's a place to discuss and debate topics, that's it. If you want to critique the punctuation and sentence structures of others, become an English professor.

Far from hung up on it. Simple reality is 50 lines of drivel with no structure is hard to read. Just a tip...

GT do you think Hatton's production on the AAU circuit has anything to do with Snider and co drawing attention away from him? And does playing on a team that talented take away the opportunity for coaches to see what would happen if he did get matched up with the 6"3'-6"4' über talented guard?

I think it certainly keeps teams overplaying him, especially with how well Snider is playing right now. That said Hatton us facing a lot of the guards you are talking about playing the 2. One in particular from the video is Jaylen Coleman for Spiece. When you play the bigger programs there is plenty of quality at the guard spots...

You do realize he just finished his sophomore year, right?

Isn't Snider playing up on the 17s? Brandon is playing on the 16s.

Brandon has shown he has the offense required to play D1 ball. I can tell you that if he proves he can play sufficient man D he'll get an offer from schools he likes. If those schools think D is going to be a big challenge he'll go to a smaller D1 school. It's really that simple.

Snider was with the 16s in Ft Wayne. And he was the best player on the floor at the 16U level all weekend...
