May 9, 201214 yr Mike Vassallo @MikeVassallo13 The #Brewers have lost for the first time ever with Zack Greinke on the mound at Miller Park. Now 18-1. (20-1 if you include postseason)
May 9, 201214 yr Anyone think Big O should be closing? If its not Chapman than Yes...With Bill Bray out Marshall slides into the role he has filled for the Reds in recent years...When Bray comes back you have two situational lefties in the pen that can get out righties if they have to but arent closer material...The Big O continues to close and Masset eventually comes in to take over his current role or Hoover slides into it...

May 9, 201214 yr Come on Redlegs, I've had multiple heart surgeries...The ticker can't take this kinda thing!
May 9, 201214 yr I have no finger nails left after that 9th inning, and the home plate umpire I could have shot today. JD
May 9, 201214 yr Author He was PH for with 2 guys on base. Corleone doesn't understand that. He never got past Little League.

May 9, 201214 yr Did this series moves the Reds one step towards Ondrusek closer, Marshall #1 lefty, Chapman starter?
May 9, 201214 yr Big win today and bigger series win. Glad they were able to lock it up. Cueto with another solid outing.
May 9, 201214 yr Did this series moves the Reds one step towards Ondrusek closer, Marshall #1 lefty, Chapman starter? I sure hope so...Even without Bray and Masset I think they should move towards this very soon, with Bray and Masset it's a no brainer that it needs to get done...Arredondo, Hoover and Simon (I know Simon right) have been good enough that moving Chapman into the Rotation and Big O into the Closers role will not hurt the team...They also have Weurtz who proably wont contribute but you never know as insurance getting ready in extended spring...And if they need another lefty they also have Donnie Joseph who is probably not ready and could use more seasoning but has been pretty impressive this year...The Reds bullpen will be just fine without Chapman, however there rotation if Chapman translates well to the Rotation becomes one of the tops in the NL with Cueto, Latos, Chapman and Arroyo...Send Leake down to AAA allowing the Reds to keep auditioning Bailey to other clubs in hopes that he puts up solid numbers...

I don't know. Can Big O handle the pressure of being a closer? He came in today, and walked the 1st guy he faced. You gotta have the mental make up to be a closer too.
