April 17, 201214 yr I'm addicted to smallmouth bass!!! The smallie fishermen that I know are bigger fans of their "type" of fishing than any other fishermen I know. Crappie and then Bass. My dad's a crappie fisherman ALL THE WAY. He'd take it over anything.
April 28, 201214 yr Throwing Little Macs and Slivers for Stripers on Cumberland......nothing like it. Feels like your hung in a stump, then the stump starts peeling off line and "It's on". Largemouth on Gunnersville, a trip I reccomend to anyone that loves bass fishing. Anything on my little Shimano Ultra light.
April 30, 201214 yr I love jugging for catfish. I haven't been yet this year and I'm starting to get the fever.
May 14, 201214 yr My dad's a crappie fisherman ALL THE WAY. He'd take it over anything. My Dad is as well. We spent many spring breaks on KY lake fishing for Crappie. We would go up there in the Fall to put in brush piles for them to be ready to fish in the spring.
May 15, 201214 yr Any kind of fish that decides the fly I made earlier in the day looks enough like real bait to attack.....Then is it on with my 9 foot fly rod.
May 15, 201214 yr My honey hole, 9"-10" bluegill, even a rare 11" on a 9' ultra light rod. Too much fun. Eating is mighty good as well! Strippers, Crappie, and Catfish as well are on my list. Not so much since my legs are shot, but use to love going to the Main Licking river ( Pendleton Co.)with soft craws and spend night after night. I think you mean Stripers, not Strippers. Lol.

May 16, 201214 yr I'd be curious as to the method and/or the lures. I would bet the best areas to try would be at certain seedy bars in towns. Insert a paper unit of money onto the hook as "bait". The higher the monetary value of said bait, the higher the attraction to such "fish". Stand at entrance of seedy bar and cast into the establishment. Success is almost certain.

Fold the paper until length-wise.....the indiginous species seem to catch site of it easier. 2. Most times, "rattlers" help.....but in this case, "rattlers" such as coins attract unwanted species. 3. Location is still important. The darker the better.
