Bass. However, when stripers are in the jumps at Lake Cumberland, I'm not sure that's the most fun one can have with a topwater bait.

Panfish on a flyrod or ultralight gear. Lots of action...
Nothing like it. :thumb:

I would have gone with this until a couple of years back when a coworker introduced me to sauger fishing off of Mehldahl dam. The action you get off of those buggers is just fantastic. You'd think you're fighting a 30 lb catfish and end up pulling a 3 1/2 lb, 12" long sauger. I'm absolutely hooked. They're not terrible eaters though either.

I'm also a pretty big fan of catfishing. Gotta live sitting up all night playing with chicken livers and panty hose, haha. Nothing better to eat than catfish though.

Sharks...hands down.

Freshwater would be bass, hybrid stripers and muskies.

Largemouth Bass on the Lake or Smallies in Elkhorn Creek.

My honey hole, 9"-10" bluegill, even a rare 11" on a 9' ultra light rod. Too much fun. Eating is mighty good as well! Strippers, Crappie, and Catfish as well are on my list. Not so much since my legs are shot, but use to love going to the Main Licking river ( Pendleton Co.)with soft craws and spend night after night.

I had a first today...48 1/2" spoonbill catfish:

:ylsuper: Have not done this in years, but I think you are no longer able to go out onto the wall to fish. Is this true? Back in the day when you would walk all the way out on that wall and then fish for them on the low side - WOW . Talk about a thrill!

I spend most of my free time chasing Musky.

They won't always let you go all the way out to the end of the wall, but you're still allowed to fish off of it.

Nah, hooked it in the corner of the mouth and on the side (fishing with two hooks). It apparently swam into my line.

Smallmouth from creeks and rivers. Catfish from lakes and big rivers.
