How many likes do you have?

Featured Replies

He gave me one once and then took it away. I took a snapshot of it because I was worried it would disappear. And then it did.

Psssst.....Over in the "Our Lord and Savior" thread, Clyde just gave out a "like"!

Check it out! It's a thing of beauty.

I remember this quite well. And I remember PP92 telling me he took a picture of it to have for later use. I guess this is "later use."

It got all screwed up. If you look at my "likes given" you will see the first was this one to RP:

It should have been the one RP saved. Not sure how it got screwed up.

OMG! This place is getting to be worse that Facebook! Turing out to be one of the worse decisions on here. I see likes as only replacing the wasteful space for quotes just to give a thumbs up, no big deal, just that you agree with what was said. I am not worried about how many likes I have, just as on FB, I concentrate on how many I give out, as you have to read others posts, not just sit back waiting to see who agrees with you.

You liked my post and then felt guilty about not giving your first like to Randy so you unliked it and gave Randy your first 'official' like. I know what happened, Clizzy.

I disagree. I enjoy liking any post I agree with or makes me laugh and will hit like immediately. I also enjoy receiving likes and will continue to enjoy receiving likes. I think it was a great idea.

I disagree that is one of the worst decisions. I do agree with you on the bolded part.

I agree with you, PP92. I enjoy giving the likes. And it's fun to receive. But I don't give out likes hoping I will receive in return.

My apologies in advance should part of BGP Nation find this offensive and get their collective shorts in a bunch.

The Clyde giveth, and The Clyde taketh away.

That is almost Jamie Foxx quality comedy right there.

I don't think anyone does that. No one gives more than Randy and I know that isn't his intent. I give out a bunch but I like to be entertained and if you entertain me or I agree, I'll like it.

I think a large percentage of people post immediate reaction thoughts instead of saying stuff to get likes. 98% of my posts are off the cuff remarks and the first thing that pops in my head. Ironically some stuff I thought was hilarious or thought provoking(the other 2%) has gotten 0 likes and some stuff I have said has gotten multiple likes without me aiming for them. I have definitely aimed but I tend to misfire when I aim.
