March 11, 201214 yr So UK fans will not buy as many tickets in STL as ATL? Not what people are upset about. Apparently they feel that the way Lunardi has it is an unfair advantage for Mizzu because it would be like playing a home game for them. I get it but don't think it matters, UK would still have more fans in the stands than Mizzu in my opinion.
March 11, 201214 yr UC is at worst a 6 seed. Win tonight and they are likely a 4 seed with the resume they will have. The 8 Top 50 wins would include 6 over the Top 25 (most in the country). Top 4 finish in the Big East and a tournament title with the wins that they have would push them up to the 4 line IMO... Agreed but not looking good for them thus far. I almost want UC to win just to see what seed it gets them after seeing the various opinions in this thread.
March 11, 201214 yr Equally as shafty Ranked 16th in the country (I am almost positive) going into the SEC tournament finals beat the number 12 team in the nation by 16 points to win that, and you end up in the #1 overall seed's bracket as a 4 seed? Laughable. Man I was finally just starting to get over that.
March 11, 201214 yr You are worked up over something that has not, and likely will not happen. Facts are facts after all... But Joe Lunardi..... :taz:
March 11, 201214 yr I love the Duke and UNC fans chiming in on UK not playing where they should when every year at least one of them play in NC. If they are the overall #1, they should play closest to home...period. No matter how well they travel.
March 11, 201214 yr Going to be a lot of fun. The 4 KY schools plus UC and X to follow how they get slotted. Can't wait!

March 11, 201214 yr Why would UK not get the 1 seed in the south? Because the Midwest site is geographically just as close and many feel UNC has earned the right to stay closer to home. I think it shakes out like this: West: 1. Big 10 winner; 2. Kansas Midwest: 1. UK; 2. Missouri East: 1. Syracuse; 2. Duke South: 1. UNC; 2. Big 10 Loser

March 11, 201214 yr The bottom line is, the west is terrible this year and someone has to go out there. The only way Murray State gets a seed around three or four may be for them to go west.
March 11, 201214 yr Can someone smarter than me please explain to me why UNC is more deserving of a #1 than Missouri? Why shouldn't Missouri get a #1 seed, and go to the Midwest in St. Louis, UK to the South in Atlanta, and ship UNC out west?
March 11, 201214 yr I think if Missouri wins today, they are the #1 seed in the west. Syracuse #1 in the east (Ohio State #2); UK #1 in the South (Duke #2); North Carolina #1 in the Midwest (Kansas #2); and Missouri #1 in the west (Michigan State #2)

March 11, 201214 yr Why should UNC get the Midwest #1 over Missouri?Because someone has to go west. And if UNC wins today, they will be higher ranked than Missouri. To me, Missouri is the last #1 seed in. UK, Syracuse, and UNC and #1 locks at this point.
