North Dakota State(4-5) led by as many as 15 points,only to see North Dakota (4-5) cut the lead to one and have possession of the ball. They held onto the lad and slowly pulled away late to post the nine point win. Senior Paul Miller(Waukesha, WI) led the winners with 30 points,5 rebounds and 3 assist. Teammate Tyson Ward(Tampa, Fl) chipped in with 15 points and 6 assist. As a team the winners connected on 13-22 from three point land. For North Dakota the slow start did them in along with all they put into cutting the lead down to one. They hit their first 19 foul shots,ending the game hitting 29-34 from the charity stripe.
