Class 1A

Sometimes the biggest games do not live up to the hype, but Paintsville and Raceland did just that before the Tigers prevailed in Overtime. Kentucky Country Day remains one of Class 1A's hottest teams with a win over Frankfort. The biggest surprise of the night came as the Bracken County Polar Bears ended Nicholas County's undefeated run. Louisville Moore polished off one of the best regular seasons in School History with their win over Waggener, the Mustangs wrap up the regular season at 7-3. Top ranked Belfry will take part in the biggest showdown in Eastern Kentucky as they take on fellow #1 4A Johnson Central.
