John Hardin 2013/2014

Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from John Hardin ? Remember, please be constructive.

What comes back from last year? I know they are coming off a trip to Rupp and had some nice performances there, so I'm surprised that there isn't more chatter around the program.

John Hardin lost a lot from last year's team, but they also return a lot of talent. Sophomore Matt Miller is the heir apparent to Brandon Price at point guard and I think he will fill those shoes nicely the next few years (though he may struggle a bit next year). Patrick Anderson and Elijah Smith are two very good guards who provide defense and outside shooting. They also return Keon Williams who is a 6'4" small forward who can do anything and everything. My concern will be inside as they need to develop some inside talent and I think that may end up hurting them a bit next year.

I do think JH dodged a major bullet with Elizabethtown though as one of E-Town's best players (6'6" Sophomore last year) whose name I cannot remember moved to Virginia. If he was returning I would say that they would be the favorite IMO to win the 5th region because they have almost everyone back from the team who destroyed Bardstown and pushed JH to the limit and had a chance to beat them at districts.
