Cooper Robb is the back up PG and is a freshman. He plays quite a bit and keeps getting better and better. Watts is a center. I don't know their numbers but I think it debunks some of the myths that Scott Co spends so much money on athletics if one of the varsity players has to wear a different uniform. That is pathetic.

I was talking to Mike Fields before the game tonight. He said he can't remember the last time the 11th was this wide open. The tournament should be a blast with no true dominant team this year.

Bad loss but Mercer is a contender. It's all just practice until the tournament starts.

Scott Co down 1 with just under 7 seconds left. Washington hits a runner down the lane and gets fouled with 1.5 seconds left. Lots of up and down action in this one. Scott Co dominated the offensive glass and shot the ball well from the outside. Isaiah Johnson scored from everywhere and Hines Jones was also knocking down shots. For Wayne, Sterns and the PG were both putting on a show offensively. Woods was held in check for the most part. The PG had to have hit at least 8 threes. Wayne missed 3 free throws (two were front end of the bonus) in the final minute or they would have taken this one. It was a fun game to watch. I may have to venture over to Lafayette when these two play again in a week or two.

Scott Co will take on Wayne Co tomorrow night at 9pm in the finals of the Toyota Classic. Coach Woods and Coach Hicks are good friends and intense competitors. I'm looking forward to this one.

He has some athletic genes. Both dad and grandpa are in the Georgetown College Athletic Hall of Fame. Great family.

I always love the Toyota Classic. Usually great games. Always a great hospitality room. The auction items they have are usually great. They don't give away the car any more but it's still a first class event. Looking forward to it. 1st round features Scott Co native Tony Wise and his Franklin Co Flyers vs SCHS.

Any win over a Glen Drury coached team is solid. Congratulations to Coach Cook and the Titans.

Woodford had an open three that would have cut the Scott Co lead to 4 with about 2 minutes left. It rimmed out and Scott Co pushed it to 12. Woodford is scrappy and smart. Scott Co was way more athletic. I would guess the Cards blocked at least 10 shots. Hicks and Hundley are both excellent coaches.

I agree, if Coach Cook can get Dow to play inspired and intense, Mercer will make a lot of noise in the post season.

Woodford now 11-3 on the year. Hundley gets the most out of his kids. The PG for Woodford had his head split open, got taped up and finished the game strong. Stitches after the game. Tough kid.

Final. Henry Clay was in control the entire game. Scott Co struggled to score.

Another great win for Coach Hundley and the Yellowjackets.

Anyone have details on this one? I bet Coach Wise would have loved to have pulled out the win after the way he was pushed out at MoCo.

I saw the Billy Ray Fawns Game. The Richie 51. Jack Jennings scored 44 one night against my high school team. I think about 30 of them were directly on me. I was a sophomore and he was a freaking beast and it looked like he wasn't trying too hard.
