Woodford Co has a strict dress code. Tried to enforce it as written. 10 meetings and a dozen news reports later they are making a compromise of some sort. Talk about wasted time.

Some of y'all are serious haters. Being an educator is hard.

Keith Guy was knocked out of the game with an ankle injury on the first series of the game. Scott Co still moved the ball but it wasn't as easy as normal. Word on the street is that Guy is out for a couple of weeks.

Well said.

Made a couple of calls. Word is that Scott Co put the JV in. Henry Clay didn't follow suit so Scott Co put the varsity back in. Coach Simpson didn't appreciate it and did call the time out with 1 second left and walked off the field without shaking hands. To quote my source, "it wasn't pretty"

I'd be interested to know more about this. Sam Simpson is as good a man as I've ever known. Did Scott Co run it up? Leave the starters in until the end? Flee-flicker?

35-21 Scott Co. Still first half.

The Gtown a news Graphic posted a link to a periscope broadcast. It's far from professional, but you kind of feel like you are playing cornerback.

28-14. Play action bomb from Scott Co.

21-14 now.

Are There any "Young Earth" BGP'ers ?
Plato replied to Science Friction's topic in Controversial Issues
"Fools" was one descriptor given. -
That was an execution. Death penalty. I hate it when the guys who are supposed to be the good guys end up being the bad guys - in police work, education, or any other public service position.

The general public has no idea how many severe behavior cases schools have to deal with. Kids who are kicked out of residential reform schools for violent/unacceptable behavior are admitted with no questions back into public schools. 10 days at The Ridge or Stoner Creek for mental illness or unstable behavior but insurance ran out... Back to public school. Schools simply aren't equipped to deal with some of these severe cases but we do the best we can. In my district last week one student was restrained 7 times. The teacher was taken to the hospital for a concussion. There aren't many substitute teachers willing to take on a day like that so the principal or assistant principal becomes the sub.... Neglecting the 700 other students to attempt (and fail) to meet the needs of one. One story of hundreds I could tell. People have no idea.

14 Year Old arrested for making a clock
Plato replied to PurplePride92's topic in Controversial Issues
It makes me sad how quickly folks blame "the school" without knowing any of the detailed information. If that picture of the dismantled clock is accurate, it would fall under the "look alike" part of the discipline code of many schools. If the kid was also uncooperative when asked questions, that would definitely be reason for concern. Bringing a look-alike would warrant a 3 day suspension in many discipline codes, even if the school knew the device was not a bomb. The same is true of pellet guns and air soft guns. at our school, pop tarts don't fall into that category. It doesnt matter if a kid is Muslim, White, Black, or any other color/ethnicity.... The school administrators have to keep order in the school and do EVERYTHING they can to provide a safe environment. Until you are charged with keeping 700 or so kids safe from outside nut jobs and also safe from one another, be careful acting like you know what you would do. You don't. -
6'0 180 or so.

Scott Co beats the team many consider the best in Lexington. I wonder if Stoops is interested in Keith Guy.

Kendrick Hamilton in for another Scott Co TD 65-40 now. Under 4 minutes left in the game.
