Most underrated players in eastern Kentucky
Not D1 size? Reynolds is 6'3 215 pounds. Reynolds puts on about 20 to 30 pounds , he would make a good linebacker or fullback.

Best running backs in EKY last 20 years!
Quentin is 5th in rushing attempts for a career. One of the big reason for that is he was a big part of the offense for 4 years. Over his career, Henson only averaged around 20 attempts a game. He is not among leaders in number attempts in a season, nor in a game, and the cutoff is 40 attempts, so according to the KHSAA records, he never carried the ball 40 times in a single game.

Best running backs in EKY last 20 years!
Actually in 98, was Henson best game against the Jackets, he rushed for around 150 yards, in the other years they pretty much shut him down. He had a big game that night, and was the main reason the game stayed pretty close. It seemed to me after that game was when Middlesboro turned it up, and was able to capture a state title. Yes he was legitametely looked at by big schools. Coach Mitchell travels with a group of players to University of Michigan's football camp every year, at that started with there intrest in Henson. He also went and visited Michigan the weekend of the Notre Dame and Michigan game. Quentin carried the ball alot, I think he is up there in state leaders in that stat, but Quentin also was not the entire offense, and were never a one player team. Our offense you have to have at least another good back to go other with the tailback. Shane Strunk also had big years his junior and senior year.

Desales(9-2) @ Corbin(6-5)
For Corbin to win their defense will need to step and make stops. I have faith that their offense can move the ball. I think this game has the makings of a high scoring game. The Hounds are very tough in the playoffs at home. Two times a year you never want to play Corbin at home, one is in the pigskin and the other in the playoffs. This year the hounds lost in the pigskin, which is unusal, will they lose at home in the playoffs too? It should be close, it could go either way.

Pikeville-Somerset predictions
I have seen both teams in person, and I think Pikeville can play with Somerset, but that will depend on how well Pikeville will run the football. I think it is important for Pikeville offense to have long drives and keep Somerset's offense off the field. In a way I thought that was one thing that really hurt Lynn Camp against Somerset, was LC scoring on big plays, mainly at the end, because it gave the Jumpers enough time to comeback for the win. But of course you will take a score whatever way you get it, but that will be a big key imo long drives for Pikeville. Pikeville is at their best in November, they know how to win this time of year. Somerset has matured over the last two years, and I think that is the difference in this team, from the last two years. Pikeville will have to be on top of their game to win. With the game at the Briar Patch I like the Jumpers. Somerset 38 Pikeville 28

Lynn Camp at Paintsville
LC did pretty well with Evarts. Mefford#88 is a very good back, and gets a lot of yards on his own. You need to gain tackle him. He had a good game on LC. LC beat Evarts 34 to 17 in 3 quarters. Evarts scored on LC on a fumble returned for a td, another fumble inside the LC 40 that lead to a field goal, and a good kick off return back to the LC 20 set up there other td. Evarts defense I thought played pretty good against LC. Evarts fumbled the ball a few times themselves which hurt them all season. Lynn Camp was also banged up that week, Joe Roskopf who had over 200 yards last night on Hazard did not play against Evarts.

Lynn Camp at Paintsville
This should be a great game from two great offenses, but I think it will be the team that plays the best of defense will advance to the regional finals.

Most underrated players in eastern Kentucky
I think he is, as is Joe Roskopf, Lynn Camp has three very good backs, as far as underrated both Reynolds and Roskopf are underrated.

Couldn't agree more. Josh is a great player that quietly does his job, and makes things happen.

Poll: Class A, Region 4 Champion?
Hazard us a good football team, and they have as good of a chance as anyone to win this region.

Poll: Class A, Region 4 Champion?
Hazard and Paintsville also have good chances of winning the region. This could be the most wide open region in the state.

Who is the best student-manager in South Eastern Kentucky?
Well he is past the age to be a student manager, but Danny Scalf from Lynn Camp ranks up there with the best of them.
-
Lynn Camp 40 Middlesboro 30
After Middlesboro jumped out to a 14 to 0 lead, Lynn Camp outscored Middlesboro 40 to 16. Middlesboro is a good football team that will be fine, but you can see their youth showing, but I think by the end of the year, they will be right their fighting for a district title. Lynn Camp to the most part was healthy, with returns of Anthony Walters and a 100% Josh Reynolds, the backfield of Lynn Camp played very well as did Nick Scalf who was 3 for 4 for 171 yards and 2tds. Josh Reynolds caught a td for 65 yards and Jimmy Chaffin 85 yards. Chaffin also had a 65 yard run for a td, and Reynolds 50 yards td run. Joe Roskropf picked up a fumble and returned it 52 yards for a td. Lynn Camp showed emotion that they were lacking last week against Leslie County. LC has PCC coming up next, and after beating Middlesboro, Lynn Camp donesn't need to have a letdown, because after starting 0 and 2 PCC will be fired up looking for their first win.

Best Looking Field In Eky
Of the grass fields I have seen so far in EKY, Corbin's looks the best. WHen I watch the grid their last week it was one of the best fields I have seen. I also liked Pineville, their field looked good too. Lynn Camp's field also is really shaping up.

Williamsburg, Corbin or Whitley County
Williamsburg I believe can win between 5 to 7 games. Not real sure about the Tenn teams, Oneida is not as good asa they used to be, and Cloudland is usually a pretty good team, should be a good game. Whitley could win also win 5 to 7 games. Their non-district is the toughest in recent memory, and than add a tough district with GRC North and South and Madison Central. Corbin has a shot at 5 games, their non-district schedule is brutal, and with what the hounds have coming back, record wise, it may be one of the worse for the hounds in 10 years. I think in 95 they went 4 and 7.
