Now that the teams have the fast pitch games out of the way tell me about the slow pitch teams. Who are the best?

Bulldog Tech I agree that Pelle's regular season numbers (guys summer never counts for anything so that is a moot point) would not be the same if he played Holmes' schedule or was surrounded by talent that Hill had. That being said I have no problem with Pelle winning it. I am one that feels he would be just as good no matter what school he played for.

I just wish the schedule would get set so we can make plans!!!!!!

I have watched several games of Pelle's and I agree. He can flat out play. he is not a typical small school can't compete with the kids from the GCL player.

As an assistant at Thomas More he was under Terry Connor (!?) Although the one year he was an assistant they led the nation in scoring but the assistant was running the offense and not Coach Connor (I think Cider???? former Brossart coach) Anyway my point is he wouldn't have learned much under Coach Connor however he is a tireless worker and deserves the chance.

Kevin Campbell was one of the hardest working and smartest college point guards I have ever watched play. He will make an excellent head coach. I just hope his first head coaching job is not in a situation that is no good for him.

Good point APNW....Holmes field is outstanding even with 2 football and soccer teams playing on it. I for one hope Bellevue gets this done....although they could fix the softball field.. The AD didn't seem to interested in doing that.

What does NCC have this year?

Bellevue has a consultant that grows Bermuda as far north as Columbus on soccer fields, golf courses, and other public facilities. I made it a point to ask the AD about it when I talked with him this morning about the softball field. He agrees with you leatherneck and they are going to train the maintenance staff and others on the care of this surface.

I know they did research and Bermuda does grow as long as it is transplanted in sprigs. Check about 5 fields in NK and several in Cincinnati. The UK groundskeeper doesn't obviously know everything. Bermuda thrives in this area once it takes hold.

It has been reported that Bellevue's AD announced a new field surface, a new track, air conditioned gym, and a new floor all being done in the next 12 months. This is awesome if it is true. The football field is supposed to be Bermuda. I heard it is all through grants. Any knowledge out there????:banana:

The grass doesn't turn brown until the first heavy frost and that is Nov. This comes straight from several grounds crews.

The kid that cshs81 is talking about is an absolute stud guard and can leap out of the gym. I believe he was being recruited by a couple of schools including Auburn. Saw him play in Bellevue's X-mas Tourney against Lockland and he was dominate inside and out.

Bob Myerhoff is a great pitching instructor.

Mustang what you say makes sense but how does the County feel about it?
