What is going on with Dixie?

Well, where to start? Their first time on a field was Thursday, when they played at Beechwood. Thats right, didn't even get one practice in, or a scrimmage. Once the weather broke they spent most of their time trying to get Turkeyfoot ready. Guess that's what happens when you think your new field is going to be ready, and find out it's not. Seriously, they didn't get one round of infield/outfield in.

Also, three boys decided to go to Florida for spring break, two of which are starters. I believe they have one more game to sit. Their catcher Bricking, has a bad left thumb, and one of their outfielders, Wells, pulled his hammy.

All this being said... even when all these guys are back, Dixie will still have their work cut out for them. The upside is, they can only get better. Hopefully this will happen, and Max can have them ready for Districts. The 34th is pretty week this year, so maybe, just maybe, they can make it to the 9th Region tournament.

They went on Spring Break and are still on the team?

I have heard that Dixie has some good young talent on the JV/Frosh level. With Dixie struggling out of the gate is there any chance some of the young talent moves up?

They went on Spring Break and are still on the team?

Did they go with other kids, or were they forced to go by parents? Two different circumstances with two different outcomes. If they decided to go with other kids, then I would question their desire to play. However, if a parent forces the kid into going on Spring Break, you can't do too much as a coach.

They went on Spring Break and are still on the team?

They were transfers from Highlands!! (LOL)

Opinions on Newcaths play?
