Where did he coach previously in college?

Are these are the 2 guys who played at Florida St ?

Where would you think he may be looking at getting back into the college game? No place locally comes to mind that may be open, maybe some place in Ohio?

I was thinking he was only a Soph.

I saw him once during his Soph season & twice in his Jr. & at those times he didn't shoot well at all. This is surprising to hear that he is a pure scorer. That said, he did score something like 15 or so in each of those games but mostly from putbacks & easy shots off the "O" setup. Not really anything he created himself but this is good to hear as I said UK needs some pure scorers.

When is it & where will it be played?

Is he looking to play basketball at the next level or does he have a chance to play football?

What other schools does Jenkins has offers from? It would be hard to beat that offer from Wisconsin

Do you have any names of any schools on Morris-MC & Setty-Mason, also heard EKU had contacted Portwood earlier but no offer had been made. What do you know about these kids?

Hopson is a pure scorer? Wow! UK definitely needs him if that is accurate.

You are correct but that is not what BGElite post was about.

Mullaney is a very good player & I hope he gets a D1 offer as I have heard he has been asked to walk on by a D1. Ferguson is a much better athlete & better shooter. True Mullaney could probably average 20 points in the 16th but that doesn't mean Fergusons could not avg 20 in the 6th or 7th. What you do not want to admit is that kids in the weaker regions can play in the stronger regions. That is not any type of knock on the stronger regions so what is the big deal with you about this??

My OPINION is not the same as yours & I do not have to back it up with anything as your stats do it for me. Ferguson leads both Setty & Middleton in 2 of the 3 catagories you listed! The other he is only 2 tenths of a % point behind them. All 3 are good high school players, (obviously not in the same catagory as Miller) will play at the next level & best wishes to all three.

FIrst of all I am an EC fan & a Ferguson fan but to make statements like this if you are an EC fan is just silly. That is some of the reason these other posters come back with the comments they do & look down on the 16th Region & other EKy Regions. Ferg is a great high school player & will play at the next level if he wants but you cannot make a statement like this & expect any respect.

How much do you think Ferguson would benefit from having someone like Miller on his team !! Especially a Miller who looks to pass first! Imagine the open looks !! Just like Setty & Middleton get now. BE REAL ! Learn some ins & outs of basketball then come up with your comments!

I think it was a post from someone in your area (see post 58) who put Ferguson in his Top 5. I do not think anyone is mentioning any of the Elliott kids in with Henderson, Hopson, Edmondson or Miller. That said size is the only thing keeping Ethan or Evan Fualkner from being in anyones top group as they are flat out basketball players! Your coach would take them in a minute!

We can tell you do not work for one of the recruiting services ranking talent! I can see 1-6 but the rest needs to be rearranged

I was visiting G'town a few weeks ago & was asked about this but I hadn't heard anything at that time so I did not comment but now that it is true I would just like to say best of luck to Dakota. To bad he wasn't there the last 2 years so that he could have practice against all their talent each day. The talent cioming back is no where near what they have had the last two years. If you have ever seen a Coach Hicks practice you can see why the talent is always really good. He develops his talent better than anyone! Even his big people can handle the ball & shoot it. Euton will develop under Coach Hicks tremendously! A great decision by the Euton family.

I know if it were me & I wanted to win it & my team lost in the semi's it would have been very difficult to attend the finals no matter what award I may be getting.

I saw Central this year & cannot believe they made it out of the 6th region. If not for PRP laying the usual annual egg Central would not be here. I would love for EC to play them. Anyway Central will most likely be 1 and done.

racer4life in case you have not noticed BGElite likes to cut Elliott down every chance he gets. I think it has something to do with jealousy & the fact that certain players from EC get more credit than someone we know he is close to gets. Plus he evidently does not know as much as he thinks he does or he would realize EC just cannot walk off & not play district opponents twice each year plus some of your other regional opponents. EC did pick up some better outside competition this year & will probably pick up a stronger schedule next year as these things cannot be done overnight. Best just to ignore such things sometimes.

I look forward to seeing this one as UHA gaurds will have to hadle that 2-2-1 press of Lex Cath.
