I have not seen LexCath this year so I can't honestly give my opinion on them. What does everyone think?

They bulldozed through a very tuff 11th region. I would pick them or Mason Co to win it all, but Lexington Catholic is in a much stronger bracket to come out of.

Will be a very close game and UHA pulls it out by 3.

LexCath looked like they will be hard to beat last night vs a very good Station team. LexCath has improved a lot over the last 4-5 weeks.

I have seen both LexCath and UHA play 3-4 times each this season. If I were "a betting man", I would have to pick LexCath by double digits. They are so big and strong. Novasel, Stewart, and Smart. Plus Vee Sanford who plays like a 6'7" guy. They can take it inside or out.

But it would not be the greatest of upsets if UHA won. Hopson will have to play the full 32 minutes and have the game of his HS career.

Nonetheless, a very very good first round game. But in the end, I think Catholic may just be too strong for UHA.

I believe this will be the best team (considering they are playing the best in the state right now) that UHA has played this year. I would love to see this game and see what Hopson can do when he is really pushed to the limit. I have a hard time thinking UHA can beat LexCath, especially if they play like they did against Station, but it could be a great game if Hopson and Edmonson play their best.

I have seen both play. My prediction is Lexington Catholic wins the game. May be close until the end.

I saw Lexington Catholic dismantle Bryan Station last night. They looked pretty awesome.

I would predict the winner of Lexington Catholic/UHA plays Mason County in the Finals. But Mason has to be careful in their first round game against Elliott County I believe.

LexCath by 20.

Brown has really been picking his game up for UH. Like I said, I haven't seen LexCath play. But if Brown, Edmondson, and Hopson get it going and have a great game I honestly don't see how anyone could beat them by 20 no matter who they are.

Don't get me wrong, I would very much love to see UHA win this game. I care nothing for LexCath at all. But, its hard to argue with them being the #1 team in the state coming into the tourney.

 This is what everyone said before their last meeting, and what was the outcome? Mason by 30

UHA just isn't deep enough to handle LexCath! While you have named some great players for UHA, LexCath has players to match up with them and then some. LexCath is the real deal and they proved that by winning their very tough Region!

Ive not seen UHA since before Christmas. At that time of the year they could not beat LexCath. Also, LexCath is easily playing their best basketball of the year at the right time.

That being said, I know I have been awfully critical of him, but if Hopson really comes to play and then Edmonson gets going, those 2 might be better than anyone LexCath has. LexCath has a better team as a whole, but if Hopson and Edmonson have special performances who knows what could happen.

LexCath has no one to match-up with Hopson.
