Didn't get to see the game but my hat goes off to Coach Oliverio. She should definetly be the COY up in the 9th after turning that program into one to beat in a very short time. Congrats BC on a big win. Ryle keep your heads up you had a fine year.

You can say what you want, but in the AAU scene without Euton and Jackson that bunch is common.

The Russell kid from Anderson County and Shelby County has several. I believe Shelby's freshmen (last year) went undefeated even though they played a lot of Louisville schools. (Beach, Johnson, Beckley and another kid whom I am forgetting) Foley kid from North Oldham is a very good soph. Yager from Carroll County. No particular order but those would add to your list with Jones and Shelton.

You must have a kid in the system, because you constantly want to blame the coaching staff. Does the coach go out and shoot and/or pass the ball? Does the coach go out and play defense? All we have heard on this site is how good Boone County is, if so then they shouldn't need a coach, just go out and let their talent win the games. I don't know the coach very well, but I would just about bet he doesn't deserve the beating he takes from a few of the Boone Co. fans on BGP.

Ryle might want this move but they wouldn't have any more region titles if they were in the eight than they have right now. Just ask SK how easy it is to win in the eight.:jump:

Why would it be a shocker?

Gallatin was outplayed in every facet of the game, out hustled, out smarted, out coached. Cats were flat. Jones benched all five at one point in the first half, even when they were still ahead on the scoreboard. I did not get the impression that he was very pleased with his bunch. They settled for 3 point shots, which is not a weakness of this team, but it is not their strength either. Several quick shots and bad passing were there downfall. Every team gets one pass a season as a bad night and this was it, but any repeat performances like tonight and they won't get out of their district.

This is a very interesting debate... It is my opinion that all five players on the floor are of utmost importance, whether they be gaurds, fowards, or big men. You win a game with five players, it is my observation that the thing that makes a point gaurd slightly more important than the other five; is that it is his responsibility to keep the other four happy, make the other four better, be the smartest player on the team, and be the coach on the floor, etc... Another thing that seperates a true point gaurd from other great players, is the ability to do great things without recieving great recognition. Whether a point gaurd is a great player, or not, should be based on his teams record, not his points, due to their responsibility to distribute rather than score... Just my thoughts on the matter...

I have a grand idea: Let's get together as a group 8,9, and 10 regions and have a true freshmen championship. Each region pick a saturday in early Feb. for each regional champ and then come together the next saturday perhaps bringing the top two from each region for a champion. I am friends with Gallatins freshmen coach, I'll run it past him to see what he thinks. If I'm not mistaken that group has lost 1 game in three years and would probably love to see how they match up against the so called big boy's.

I'm going with SK by 4, Steiner will work his magic.

There was alittle "sleep walking" from the CATS but all the credit in the world goes out to the Raiders. Coach Lauster has done one heck of a job with those boys. If they play like they have been they can be competitive in that district this year. Any win is a good win, especially on a tuesday in Bedford and coming off the Class A. Keep focused Cats only 9 more wins to reach your goal.

How do you stereotype a crowd of 500 or 600 for the action's of ten or twelve?
