  1. So it looks like schools with enrollments of less than 900 can compete afterall.
  2. Yes. This year makes 5 in the past 10 years.
  3. Ballard 75% chance- Warren Central 25% chance Scott Co 55% chance- Holmes 45% chance
  4. It would be nice to put in the lone senior for a few minutes.
  5. Mason County I think was a 2A football school when they were going to the championship games. Lex Cath was 2A part of the time and 3A others. I am not sure about Tilghman, 3A I think.
  6. I noticed Hicks tried to steal every minute of rest for his key players as he could the first two games. I suspect Riley is doing the same.
  7. The winning teams are trying to steal a minutes of rest for their starters for tomorrow. The losing teams have nothing to rest for.
  8. Assuming that Warren Central holds on to their large lead, below is a list of teams with multiple Sweet 16 final four appearances durning the past 10 years. PRP- 2 final fours Russellville- 2 final fours North Hardin- 2 final fours Paducah Tilghman- 2 final fours Male- 2 final fours Mason County- 2 final fours Lexington Catholic- 3 final fours Ballard- 3 final fours Warren Central- 3 final fours Scott County- 5 final fours
  9. What part of my post do you disagree with. That Adair played well? That SC played well enough to win? That walls played great? That one of the three officials was horrible?
  10. Paintsville had some good runs in the late 90s. Russellville had a couple final 4 tournaments.
  11. The Boy's Sweet 16 pays all the bills and salaries for the KHSAA.
  12. Out in the state? I thought London was the center of the universe and Louisville was "out in the state".
  13. GRC has had a few games like this one. Scott Co had them by 44 points at one point and Lex Cath ran off about 20 points in a row. GRC was a very good team that could play very poorly occasionally. Tonight was one of those occasions. Congratulations on making to Rupp GRC. There are about 250 teams that would have liked to change places with you tonight.
  14. I think another reason SC has not looked very impressive offensively is because they have been subing so much trying to steal minutes of rest for their starters and foul trouble. In the opener the starters played less than 21 min. Today most of the starters played about 24 min, except Mackey only played 14.
  15. Adair played well. Scott Co played well enough to win. /Walls was great. Mackey only played 14 min. Several of the fouls on Mackey and Walls were phantom calls to say the least, most by the same official. I would rate the 3 officials today as A, B, and F.
  16. Nobody hated JBS when they went 4-22 every year.
  17. I would agree with this assessment. The speed and athleticism will give South Laurel problems. Holmes will also have to creat some turnovers.
  18. Teams that rip and run look out of control a lot of times to the casual fan. Ballard and Scott Co are two prime examples.
  19. Why is Riley putting his starters back in? Wouldn't the smart move be to rest them for Saturday and maybe Saturday night?
  20. Personally, I would like to see it happen.
