  1. With all the talk about DI or not, nobody has mentioned NKU may be DII, but I remember them having a local DI university on the ropes recently...and I'm not talking about an OVC school.
  2. Inexperienced? The guy called the national title game last year. Tell BCG to quit flying his arms around on the sideline like a high school coach. For the record, I was rooting for UK.
  3. It is simply a Big East assignment when it is at Louisville and an SEC assignment when it is at UK. Most of the time you will see officials on this game that work in both leagues.
  4. Will the 3 highest rated teams be from the 14th, 15th, and 16th regions?
  5. Entertaining? Yes. Fact of the matter is with their current resume and future schedule, UofL needed this game worse than UK did.
  6. You do understand this was a Big East crew don't you?
  7. No mention of Sanford's dunk at the end of the game?
  8. Doubt this would be the case with a 10th vs 11th matchup.
  9. Except for all the fouls went on Sanford. You wouldn't think their best player would get all the fouls.
  10. Are you sure it was over that? I heard it was because the coaches don't want to let the BBA leave for the region but they still want to scratch? Doesn't seem to make sense that you want your scratches yet they won't even let the officials go out for postseason. Sounds as if the coaches want their cake and to eat it too.
  11. Wasn't Tubby right on his recruitment of Bradley and Crawford over Lofton, and just did a bad job of developing them? Can you imagine if BCG had those two guys for four years?
  12. Then why did he downgrade the schedule from last year?
  13. You may get your wish. Rumor at the Sweet 16 was this was Boucher's last year. Although I don't think that will change anything about the referee process. Coaches and ADs have too much control to begin with. It is NOTHING like the NCAAs.
  14. Like him or not, his judgement at Rupp was as good as anybody else's.
  15. No, Alfred Smith is from the Louisville regions. I believe Sandlin lives in the 9th but works in the 8th, therefore, he was blocked out of both games.
  16. Sorry to inform you but because the play was coming from the other side of the basket it wasn't his "area".
  17. I thought Smith from Louisville was very good, along with Gray, Bottoms, Lyle, and Sandlin. Of course Lyle and Sandlin were blocked all day on Saturday, and the other three were very good in their games. Friday and Saturday is when it gets real tough and you want guys working these games that are used to this style of play. Not always possible when 6, 7, 10, and 11 are always playing on Friday and Saturday.
  18. Where have all the calls been since 2002? I thought Stewart's 4th foul summed up the game. Less than a minute to go in the 3rd, and why he was on the floor I don't know, but he gets beat off dribble and sticks two hands in the guys chest. Obvious foul that Salsman didn't even complain about.
  19. He is not working the Sweet 16 and did not see anyone there yesterday from the 16th region.
