  1. Sandlin, Keplinger (SP?) and I didn't recognize the other guy.
  2. From what I was told the 8th are going to the 12th and the 6th are going to the 8th.
  3. Just like the girls draw: 29th vs 30th and 31st vs 32nd
  4. This should be a great tournament. To me Simon at Simon will be a tough out and I like their chances. But, I would not be surprised if more than one district runner-up advances to the semi's. South seems to be playing really well and Shelby took Anderson to OT in the district finals - this has the makings of a Classic. I heard Owen played really well in the District tournament, but it will be a tall order to beat Simon at Simon. Wainscott and Gayheart, two of the better guards in the region, should be a very interesting match-up. Walton is coming off a high beating Simon in the finals, but Carroll is very well coached and beating a team 4 times is never easy. Oldham has made great strides this year, but they will have a hard time with a very good Anderson team. The only thing I really know is this should be a great tournament.
  5. They should they are 6X bigger than Walton or Williamstown. I think with the split of Shelby County - Simon may be the largest school in the 8th next year.
  6. The 32nd did give out 7. Eleven is a lot. Congrats to Owen. Good luck to both Carroll and Owen next week in Independence.
  7. I would think that both teams taped the game. Coach Stowers didn't make a very big argument after. I'm sure if he felt it was good, that he would of stated his case with a lot more vigor than he did.
  8. The shot was after the buzzer, but not by much.
  9. Don't know that it means much, but Simon has scored 41 points all three times against Walton. Kind of interesting.
  10. All District Dixon MVP Hoffa WV Ginn WV Wainscott SK Ponzer SK Plunkett Grant Wilhoit Williamstown
  11. You should be proud. Played hard for 32 minutes and hit a very big 3, plus her drive and dish late was a really nice play. Brown, Ponzer and Wainscott are iron men(women) out there. Great game and good luck to the lady pioneers in the regionals.
  12. I concur - I thought Grant County played really well, and probably deserved to win. A couple costly turnovers late really hurt them. Good luck to Walton against Simon on Friday.
  13. Wainscott is a Junior. She is a very good player.
  14. Retro - very good observations.
  15. Please explain, I'm not sure I follow. Does this mean 1-10 are going DI.
  16. Who is the 2nd 8th grader. I only see McKee.
  17. Brown is from Anderson County. I believe Hill from Gallatin and the Girl from Henry I can't remember her name made it.
  18. Great pictures Panda. Walton played a solid game tonight. It was the most energy they have played with since they got back from Richmond. Good luck against Simon on Thursday.
  19. Great question. She was taken out with 4 point lead in 4th. Conner has to have her on the floor offensively and defensively.
