  1. I listened to the last couple minutes, quite a finish. Thanks for the updates! :thumb:
  2. Pendleton County will play Harrison County on Friday in the 38th District Championship
  3. Augusta advances to play Mason County on Thursday in the 39th District Championship
  4. The video feed where I was watching it went down and the Twitter updates stopped coming after the 1st half. Hence why no more updates, I guess we will just wait for the final score.
  5. Lewis County will play Russell on Friday in 63rd District Championship
  6. Montgomery County will play Clark County in the 40th District Championship on Thursday
  7. West Carter will play Elliott County on Friday in the 62nd Championship

  10. 7-5 Bryan Station after 1 quarter Yes, you read that right. It was actually a 3-2 score with under 2 minutes to go.
  11. 1st round of the 61st District Tournament. Rowan County will play winner of Bath County/Fleming County on Friday.
  12. Yep, the thread was started in the Boys basketball forum. It would likely be swallowed up this week with all the playoff stuff, link to the thread: http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?216424-Nick-Zambos-Scores
  13. Holy cow! That's a lot of info for one banner, shouldn't they get at least two?? Just having fun, it was a great group of kids. Let's not forget the core group made it to the state finals in 2008 before finally winning in dramatic fashion in 2009.
  14. Lafayette will play Catholic in a 43rd District semi-final on Wednesday night. They have lost to Catholic twice this year by 20 and 23.
  15. I do agree that Bracken County had a very nice year, but I don't agree that the Royals struggled with the zone or at least when I listened. Mason County came out and hit a few 3's and scored the first 12 points of the game. It was never in doubt after that. Bracken Co. 8 7 15 9 39 Mason Co. 21 12 12 21 66 Bracken Co. (17-11) -- A. Cummins 14, Woods 6, Jefferson 10, J. Cummins 3, Hamilton 4, Florer 2. Mason Co. (17-12) -- Gilbert 8, Henry 5, Black 13, Harris 4, Setty 22, Menefee 3, Hamm 2, Pawsat 7, Jackson 2. 16. 1st Round of the 63rd District Tournament. Russell will play the winner of Lewis County/Greenup County on Friday night.
  17. 1st Round of the 62nd District Tournament. Elliott County will play the winner of East Carter/West Carter on Friday night.
  18. 1st round of the 39th District Tournament Royals advance to play the winner of St. Patrick/Augusta on Thursday night.
  19. As long as I have been reading this site, we all can agree to disagree on best region, best district, best team, etc, etc. One thing just about EVERYONE agrees with is Cov Cath is it, hands down, no contest. So yeah, these threads are fun, but they come up often enough that we can cut and paste the responses from the last one.
  20. Congrats to Bracken County on a very nice season, 17-10, 4 of those losses coming to Deming. Royals should win by 20 plus. This team was already motivated after the tragic passing of Mike Murphy and now you add to it they are healthy, yeah, this could get really interesting as the playoffs move forward.
  21. Yep, they have Neal all year, this team is likely Top 15 in the state, if not a little better. Mason County isn't the only team to have injuries during the year, but just amazing they didn't have their first practice with everyone available until just a couple days ago. It just so happens to be a few days before the start of the post season, saying I'm "a tad" excited for the regional tournament to get here is being kind.

  24. I believe it was mentioned before Neal's injury last year that he had some mid-major schools looking at him for football. Now who knows if he would have been offered a scholarship, but I can imagine the 2nd injury didn't help him. Nothing wrong with G-Town, stay close to home, play ball and get a great education.
