Pendleton County 49 Deming 37

Pendleton County will play Harrison County on Friday in the 38th District Championship

Congrats to PC

Way to go PC. From the radio, it sounded like Bonar and Rerring had a great night. Good luck for Friday's game.

Tough loss for Deming. They had an outstanding year.
I guess they can hang their hat on beating Bracken County 4 times this year, but man what a dissapointing season. No All A,no regional. Did they go to the region last season, can't remember? This was supposed to be their year to represent the 10th in the All A,as well as win district

Aaron Bonar led the way with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 blocks. He was a man among boys tonight in Cynthiana. Jared Rering also came off the bench to provide 10 points and 13 rebounds. These two were outstanding tonight for Pendleton County. Mason Monroe and Bryan Woods also chipped in 11 and 10 points respectively. Michael Walsh's defense on Kyle King tonight was outstanding. He held Kyle to only 6 points I believe.

Congratulations to Coach Simms and his boys!

So lets hear about the powder delay! Who's bright idea was that?

Pendleton County's student section also did this last year in districts, but it went off without a hitch.

They didn't make it to Region last year. Pendleton County beat them out in the first round of districts.

Their cupboard is bare for awhile now

Congratulations to Pendleton County on the win.

Nice record for the Black Devils; I hope they can come up with another class like their '11 class sometime soon.

Solid win for Pendleton County, who again gets it done in March. Tough loss for Deming, who says goodbye to a memorable group of young men.

I want to give credit to the King Twins from Deming. Those boys are incredible basketball players, but are also the epitome of a class act. For those of you who havent attended a Pendleton County game this year, after every game, Pendleton and the opposing team gather at center court for a prayer by either Alex Valentine or Asa Crozier. Tonight the King twins were the only two Deming players to join Pendleton County for prayer. I'm not by any means bashing the other players; I'm sure they were upset, and they may have even forgotten that Pendleton does this. But I thought this showed a lot of class from the King twins. As a Pendleton County fan, I'll be glad to see them graduate because of their basketball talent, but the 10th Region will also be losing two quality young men.
