I would like to see as much energy concentrated on being a good official as is getting put into being the fashion police. I mean come on, color of prewrap ? Arm band, sweat band, head band ? The next level of ball has tattoo's everywhere, arm warmers, etc. Like to see that much effort put in to calling a charge correctly !

The Lady Lions were by far the best team on the floor. Congrtas to them. Bracken must cut down the turnovers and start hitting layups or the district tourney is not gonna be a pleasant experience.

Congrats to Miss Tibbs. From what I understand, this is one fine young lady who has some god given advantages but has also worked very hard with a lot of extra practice to improve her game. Good lesson for any middle schoolers with a desire to play Varsity basketball. Bracken County's game with Scott this past Sat was canceled due to a scheduling conflict with the All A Tourney. Really regret not getting to see Miss Tibbs play. Hope they can get that rescheduled but if not I for sure will have to make a trip and catch a Scott game.

Better and better each time out are the Lady Royals. Congrats to Highlands on the win. What a job Coach Butcher is doing with these lady royals ! Highlands is the top ranked team in No. Ky. with the resume to back it up. To play with them says alot to how much the lady royals have improved since the start of the season. Come district time it's pretty much goona be throw a ball on the floor and see who wants it more. Awesome job Coach B.

Don't know if the triple ot game had anything to do with th loss or not. Should not have. BC scored first but it was all Fleming after that. The Lady Bears just got outplayed on both ends of the floor for somewhere close to 31 minutes. Congrats to Fleming on the win. Know Coach K will have them ready for the class A. Word from the hospital on injured guard B. Burden was just an ankle sprain.

Good win for the Lady Bears. Congrats. Got some great play off the bench from Alana Ahrens ( 19 pt.s I think ). As well as Sara Sticklen and Jami Roberts. If the lady Bears can keep getting quality minutes from the bench like that, it could pay some big dividends come tourney time.

Wouldn't it be a lot simpler to handle it in the following manner. If a parent is disruptive to practice, ask that parent to leave ! Should all parents be penalized because some don't know how to conduct them selves ? I see this mentality in our society all the time. Instead of addressing a problem at the root of the problem, we want to cut down a whole tree just because one branch is bad.

Congrats to Lewis county. Another loss for Mason county but they are getting better each time out. Could just as easily be 5-2. Expect them to be a dangerous team by season's end.

The lady bears should have never got to that position of needing a last second shot to win. after being up by 15. credit bourbon for not giving up. Nice moment for Rogers to have though. good kid that works hard. great she got to experience one of those moments.

Exactly ! All kinds of bad possiabilities. I can see where a near riot situation could easily occur there. Wasn't there just a trial held in Fleming County where someone was assaulted at a baseball or softball game ? School spirit is great, just keep it in the stands. Why invite all the risks ?

Nothing wrong with school spirit. As long as it remains in the stands. The playing floor should be reserved for ten players and two or three officials. I know you can say as long as they stay off the playing floor and just on the sideline...... And then they start inching forward.....and then they are three inches on the floor and then six and then a foot. Here's the next thing that happens : Little Suzy goes down towards the corner and runs into a student that is showing school spirit and poor judgement. Little Suzy ends up with an injury from the collision with student showing spirit. Gets real interesting now...... Little Suzy's Dad is coming out of the stands cause his baby girl is hurt....... See where this can only go downhill in a hurry ? Cheer all you want to... Just keep it in the stands and leave the floor to the players.

That's my take as well. I can see her on the ground in the driveway just the same as the floor in a gym. She's a pleasure to watch. My kind of ballplayer.

Didn't know much about Ludlow before this game. But anybody facing them thinking easy win is gonna go home disappointed. Very impressive front line.

Got to take this game in last night. Good way to spend a friday evening. Anybody facing Campbell County had better know where Kitchen is on the floor. She does it all. Spot up and shoot, penetrate and shoot, find the open man, etc. Very impressive ballplayer. A question for the Brossart Faithful : Is Jenna Bezold a regular come off the bench player ? She probably only played 15 minutes last night ( mainly 2nd and 4th quarters ) but pretty much kept Brossart in the game in the first half. Thought Hannah Uthe had a great game also.
