Scott built a big lead and almost lost it down the stretch. Mason Co. battled back and almost pulled it out.

After falling behind by 23 points, the Mason County Lady Royals put together a furious rally, but came up short in a 54-52 loss to the Scott Lady Eagles tonight in the Kenton County Classic at Scott. Keller Menke scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Mason County hosts St. Patrick Monday night.

Did Queen for Mason County play in this one?

The score on this one at half time was 28 13. Mason made a good come back. Queen played and had 4 points in the first half. Don't know if she had any points in the second half. These young girls are going to do great things.

St. Patrick and Bracken County better not overlook Mason County in district, I could see both getting tripped up by the Lady Royals

I wasn't at the game but I heard Keller Menke hit about a three quarters length of the floor shot at the end of the game. Can someone tell us about it?

Yes she did. Scott hit two free throws with 1 second left to go up 54-49 and she threw in a three from 3/4 court for the final score.
