Big debate in our household. I've seen too many good things about keeping kids back one year, both athleticly and socially.

To say that I admire this yound man is major understatement. To go through all his physical distractions and STILL want to play the sport, is just a testiment to how determined this guy is to wanting to succeed. This also doesn't go with just sport, but acedemics. Above a 4.0!! I told him if my son could become half the young man he has shown, I would proud. I would also like to thank him again for allowing me be around him for the past 6 years.

I just wanted to say thank you to a "workhorse" type of player. I've loved watching and being around such a wonderful young man. Not only has he excelled in sports, but he has in just being a person. I've seen him go out of his way to just say hi and give my kids five or bump knuckles. Not to many high school aged kids would, especially those with his athletic reputation. He has been put under a microscope, and on a pedestal, since middle school and he came out smelling like roses. Good job son, I'm proud.

Snowbird is throwing the ball to an open player down court with NO ONE around him.. So kingofthejungle, if you are breaking with noone one around you, its snowbirding? Maybe they are just that fast. As for Dicky, well....

Elliott probably did have something to due with Selby's performance, but he has greatly improved. Look at the game against Ashland in the district finals. 18 in the first half against a pretty good interior defense. 0 in the second because of his own fault.

Some call it "snowbird" others just call it FASTBREAK. Either way, it two on the board. As for not having dept, that is only a factor for foul trouble or fatigue. I'm going on record to say, they will NOT get fatigued. I've seen their pratices and they go nonstop for 2 1/2 to 3 hours everyday. Way to Buddy and the Cats. Take care of East first. One game at a time.

Boyd by 5. They actually have the athletes to match up with the twins and the physical player, Blanton, to match up with Ferguson. If the they are able to be physical and bump the sophs some, they win this one. Elliott has noone to even come close to stopping Selby. As for Selby guarding someone on Elliott, I saw him slow down Euton and even pick his pocket. I also agree with KYGirl, seniors are desperate!

Clarence Thompson honorable mention? I saw him SHATTER a backboard in practice! As for Greg Whitlock, he could dunk with his elbows.

I would just like to say that Selby AND Billy Blanton are class acts. I can't say enough about them. They took the lose like men with only one thing to say, "See you Monday." Great kids. I would love to have either one playing for Ashland.

What took Stephens out of the lineup? Injury? No doubt that Wilson stepped up the other night, but I was just wondering.

How long has Wilson been starting? I know he played some against Ashland last time, but wasn't starting.

Try going in Ohio and playing. I've seen refs clear WHOLE SECTIONS! They couldn't determine who the person was and cleared the whole section.
