With the turmoil going on at Fairview High School with Coach Cooksey accepting the football job I believe it would be appropriate for Fairview to name either Jeff Hall or their other asst I believe its Coach Davis as their new head coach

shooterx3 I hate to disagree with such a fine individual as yourself but,if you believe there is no turmoil at the little school on the hill you are sadly mistaken, I have spoken with parents that are very upset with the dictatorship and are looking into other options

I don't see any basketball players leaving Fairview, if they do, I'll admit I'm wrong, Fairview should be a top 5 team this year

Well Shooter it's not so much kids leaving Fairview, but the football turmoil, may have a negative effect on the basketball season.

I just heard from a reliable source the Jackson family is moving into the Ashland school district, if he decides to play for the cats the rich get richer, Brent IMO is the top shooter on the eagles not the top scorer as that is Cameron Hall

Is that Forest Jackson's boy. If so, I don't see him leaving Fairview. But hey if he does I would be shocked.

I agree, but they are moving, an I know Forrest wants Brent to be coached by a full time coach, an I know how much he truly respects Jeff Hall an his ability to coach

If he wants a full time coach Buddy is his man. This man lives, breathes, and eats basketball. Would seriously play 12 months.

Has anyone heard if Rex is going to hang onto the Basketball job?

With no response I will assume Rex will remain, Just wondering is the baseball coach next, maybe Bill would like Rex instead of Rick Lambert, or band director maybe one of the McPeeks can play an instrument and would be a better fit than the present director

Jackson would fine playing time a lot harder to come by at Ashland . He is a good kid and player but he should think long and hard before team jumping.
