  1. Coach Donahue is a good coach and Harlan are always gracious hosts. They are down this year but I expect that will back at the top of the heap in a couple of years. Score was about what I expected. McCreary continues to improve and Watts and Roark have big play ability.
  2. Knox Central is on a roll. Coach Mills has got his kids playing well.
  3. Whitley dominated. They had a little lapse in the 2nd quarter but other than that they controlled the game. A lot of kids had big games. They really were aggressive on both sides of the ball and had numerous big hits tonight. Coach Black has got his kids believing that they can play. You could see the kids confidence grow as the game progressed.
  4. Letcher by a bunch. Leslie has fallen on hard times.
  5. Penalties and Turnovers will decide this game. Both teams have athletes and play hard but can be undisciplined.I believe Williamsburg has better talent and should win but they have the ability to keep teams in games and when that happens you can get beat like Williamsburg did in this game last year. If the Jackets play smart they will win by 12.
  6. The smart money is on Danville but Cville will make it a tough one.
  7. I'm glad he'll be back. Without that kid this was a huge win.
  8. The Campers found a way to win dispite their injuries. The Persons kid is a nice 4th string tailback.
  9. I believe that Berea will take their place on the schedule when they enter the district next year.
  10. Corbin 26-21. The Hounds were to physical last year and will be this year also.
  11. Watts is the best running back, reciever and quarterback on this team. He also does a good job on defense. Roark is a very good back but I believe Watts has the ability to be a D1 kid.
  12. Whitley in a close one. Whitley is loaded with weapons. LeBanion and Jones are both good enough to be feature backs. Wynn has the speed to make big plays. You can't key on Powers because one of these other kids will have a big night.
  13. Watts and Roark will be to much for the Green Dragons.
  14. It looks like the Eagles trip to Williamsburg will give them a chance to avoid a tiebreaker this year. That should be a war. The Campers are not out yet. They are in the same spot Williamsburg was in last year. Williamsburg would have to beat the Eagles and the Campers could make it a 3 way tie by rolling in to Williamsburg and avenging last years upset.
  15. Did the back who was injured against Williamsburg play? Good win.
  16. So much for Harlan going winless. Congrats to Coach Donahue and the Green Dragons players.
  17. This sounds like a wild game. What were Bowling's numbers?
  18. Big win for the Raiders. What kind of numbers for Watts and Brown?
  19. Good win for the Campers. If Wagner gets healthy they could get on a roll down the stretch.
  20. Coach Mills has turned Knox in to a real football programn. I hopefully they will avoid the injury bug that derailed them at the end of last year.
  21. This was a total mismatch. I liked the hook and ladder play. I hope Fritts injury is not serious.
  22. They need Crawford to be healthy. Other than that they should be a force this year.
  23. Small schools seem to be up and down. Harlan is in a down cycle but I would expect this to reverse it self in the near future. Coach Donahue is a good coach and a better man. The dragons will roar again in the near future.
  24. When will Wagner be back? He is a horse. A trademark of Dave Mitchell teams are that they are phsical. I don't expect them to be intimidated by the mighty invaders from the great North.
