WILDMAN Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 What was the score at the half? Anyone have any stats or estimates? I heard Fritts went down. Anything serious?
IM4THEHOUNDS Posted September 27, 2008 Author Posted September 27, 2008 Score at the half was 35 - 0. Fritts went down with a possible ACL injury to the knee. Won't know for sure until he gets an MRI. This would be a huge loss for the hounds, keep him in your prayers.
WILDMAN Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I sure hope the best for Fritts. Not only for Corbin sake but most importantly for his sake. He's a heck of a back and is the go to guy. Fortunately, if there is a silver lining, Watkins and Campbell are more than capable of carrying the load. I'd imagine Foley would have been the one to step in for Fritts along with Sewell. However with Brady out, that cuts down on the depth. If Fritts is out for a significant amount of time, they have no choice but to work some more passing into the scheme. 2 backs will get winded so the Hounds will need more options. Speaking of which, did Freeman play well and did they do much passing?

Roman Mitchell got some time at QB as well and did some passing. Everyone has Fritts in their prayers. If the news is bad the Hounds will step up and still be a viable contender . . . they won't go down easily.
Thomas Magnum Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 Congrats Corbin on a nice district win. Best Wishes for Fritts, hope it is nothing serious and you return to the field of play as soon as possible.
HITMAN97 Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 I hate that for Fritts and Corbin. Hopefully the MRI will give better than expected results. You guys should be fine with Watkins and Campbell. I hope you do not have a rash of injuries like we have had, we are down to our 4th RB.

nomorenoles Posted September 27, 2008 Posted September 27, 2008 This was a total mismatch. I liked the hook and ladder play. I hope Fritts injury is not serious.

Nice play, but that's the play Fritts was hurt on. Hounds looked pretty good passing the ball tonight. Unusual for a Corbin team, special teams have come up big every game
