Both teams played hard. Dayton had essentially three touchdowns called back. I will be able to elaborate on this later but I'm sure who was ever at the game saw this too and it really sad to see that happen to kids.

Dayton had 1 touchdown called back for a block in the back, they had a long pass called back for holding and a long punt return called back for a block in the back. All were legitimate calls from what I saw but the 1st half punt return for a touchdown there was a block in the back right in front of the Ref that went un called.

It was a close and hard fought game. It is a shame thats someone has to loose but it is sports and games have to be settled on the field. We both had penalties that could have made the difference but I understand how you feel.

Dayton is a good team that is only 0-5 because they play tough competition. They have some good athletes #14,#21,#26, and #3. This game could have went either was and was war much like last years game. Best of luck the rest of the season.

I agree it is a shame, but the three I was referring to was the muffed punt that I still don't know what was called and the holding call when we reached the 4. I seen the back judge throw as our reciever was catching the ball. I understand where you are coming from and I know both teams played their hearts out. Just sad to see it on my side. Good luck though.

The muffed punt kind of had me muffed myself. At first I thought it had hit the Lynn Camp player when he had his back turned. There was a Dayton player between the Lynn Camp player fielding the punt and the Lynn Camp player it hit. They were all withing a few feet of the player fielding the punt. I would love to see a replay of that one to figure it out. I can see your point on that play! Halo interference was the call I believe.

I thought that is what they called but the kid catching the ball was at least 5 yards away from the Lynn camp kid it hit in the back, so I don't know what their judgement was. The second block in the back too was a pretty bad call I thought. The first one they called was really close, but the second one I thought was pretty bad. But what can you do now, we got the L you got the W.

Well good luck the rest of the season. The contract was for 2 games only, right? If so too bad, this could turn into a rivalry.

I think it is but we need to consider extending it. Since there was questions from Lynn camp last year and Dayton this year, maybe we can meet half way every year in Lexington so it will be a neutral site. Just a thought.

Bad calls or not, depending on your view, the game was still Dayton's to win with a first down deep in LC territory and time on the clock. It was a nail biter second half. Finished just like last year.

Also, did anyone see the hits that Steven Davis (#88) was putting on tonight? WOW!

Also, Tyrone had at least 40 carries tonight. He'll sleep good!

I like your thinking.... a 3rd and final tie breaker.

What's the connection between these two schools? It seems like an odd matchup considering locales.

Nice showing by Dayton.

Game was picked up because both teams needed one, so there was a 2 year contract.

It turned into a pretty hardcore series, though. If these two were in the same district, it would be a vicious rivalry!

No connection, I think both just needed a game to fill the schedule and it turned out to be an excellent match up. It was like last years game in it is sad to see a team have to lose.
