Lynn Camp 14 Dayton 13

Featured Replies

We ended up with some new injuries. (Wouldn't be a LC game without losing some bodies.) Will know some more later, but some could be fairly serious knee stuff.

I looked like half the team was limping after the game. We have a week off, right? maybe we can get some much needed healing time before a very tough stretch.

Amen to the time off!

Hey, 97, Jim Mitchell told me you saved his skin by showing up and helping with the field today! He said to make sure to thank you, so thanks. No more home games until Nov. 7.

You should have come over and watched the game behind the team tonight.

I noticed a lot of laying on the field after the plays for Lynn camp. Don't know if it was injuries or conditioning. Number 1 would be an excellent back if he had better conditioning. He tired very quickly.

#1 is Persons. He is a converted tight end. He's like our #6 option at TB right now, litteraly, and this was, counting JV time, his 4th game as a running back. He's doing OK, but could use some additional conditioning. He had about 40 carries tonight and rarely left the field. That he was still around to finish was amazing. He didn't look so tired on our final drive....

We're a beat up team with the injuries we have and the kids are killing themselves going both ways, so the bodies on the field are just a by product of our weird season.

I was glad to help and no thanks needed, I always feel appreciated and this is my way of contributing. I would have came over there but I had invited friends and family to see the game because I knew it would be a barn burner.

Anything to speak of? Tyrone is ok isn't he? I noticed Sapcut did not dress and Steele wasnt out there. Lanham, Rice, and Ammon looked to be limping a bit.

Good win for the Campers. If Wagner gets healthy they could get on a roll down the stretch.

Did they enjoy it?

Yes they did, some was as nervous as I was. A couple had come to the Clinton Co. game and I told them what to expect and to come back. They were not dissapointed.

I would like to say that the Lynn Camp faithful for showing their team some much needed appreciation. They were in full force and that is what I expect from them every game.

Daddy cat, was just wondering on what your take is in the calls tonight. Especially the muff punt and the last block in the back.

Good win for LC, Dayton was better than I thought...

I hope we have Wagner and Steele back by the Williamsburg game.

Dayton is a good team. I expected us to win but not for the game to be decided in the last 2 minutes. #3, #14, #21, and #26 were some good athletes.

How much did Daytons #21 remind you of our #21? I am glad he did not get more touches!

#3 and #26 are juniors who will be returning and bringing a lot of speed back next year. 21 and 14 are the senior leaders of the team, who only has four seniors on the team. We are young with a lot of inexperience on the varsity level, but they improve with every game.
